Dune Part Two - "Father, I found my way" 

He came so close to a simpler life. Paul might have been content with living as just another Fremen. Even Leto would have been happy, knowing his son was happy. But fate had other plans.

Touching moments, I think every son can relate to.

Exactly two people loved Paul for who he was, not who they wanted him to be. By the end he'd lost them both.

2:12 dunno if it’s intentional or not, but Paul kinda gives Chani a strange look after she says that since that’s the very first line she says at the start of Part 1, which might be the dream sequence Paul mentioned to Jessica. So Paul might have just recognised this exact moment from the dream as it happened and seemed to have accepted it.

This movie is a Masterpiece.

THE SLEEPER HAS AWAKENED!!!!

Leto was a good man. I respect him very much.

Interesting that he removes the ring when he "finds his way", so what does that mean when he puts it back on before declaring himself the Messiah? Is Paul telling us here that he has "lost his way" and has accepted the religious mantle?

This whole sequence of scenes is why the modern Dune movies (pt1 and pt2) represent one of the greatest tragedies of all time. He falls in love with the Fremen and embraces their way of life as his own ("Father, I have found MY WAY" as he takes off the Signet). He falls in love with Chani. He joins with the Fremen to do everything he can to stop the Harkonnens. After riding the sandworm, he is a whole Fremen warrior. He has passed everyone of the tests and is embraced by all Fremen as one of them. Then you contrast that with the ending of the movie where the only path he can take to ensure the survival of the Fremen, Chani, and ultimately (if you've read the books) humanity, is to walk the way of Paul Mua'dib Atreides. Becoming the Quizartz Hadderach and completing his revenge against the Harkonnens while taking the throne as Emperor of the Imperium. In doing so, he knows he has to break Chani's heart in front of everyone in the Imperial Court, but that anything less wouldn't work. So masterfully done. That's why all six times I saw it in IMAX, I sat in stunned silence, tearing up when the ending credits music played. Such a classic tragedy.

It would have been nice if Paul would have taken Chani to Caladan to see the ocean a d the rain...

Go on, ask him about the waters of his homeworld.

Still a wetter love story than Twilight

This movie is phenomenal. Denis is a mastermind director

Father and son moments don’t happen often in media actually very rarely and this hits harder than anything mother daughter can match

No acting - Dune made me cry .. Even Zendaya
