For me… it’s the 2nd to last shot. Sweeping past the worm-riders as one fires a heat seeking rocket which curves through the air and finds its target, right on the music beat!
After the end of part 1 people said it was too slow that they wanted more action. We who are fans of the book told you don't worry about it, we knew what was coming. The book is really like that. The first half introduces the characters, relationships, and politics of the great houses, second half is the fighting. It's easy, first half politics, second half action.
That giant sphere entering the atmosphere is the Emperor's royal ship. Look at the opening scene again with the atomic explosion of the shield wall, that chrome sphere is hovering over the Emperor's imperial palace on Arrakis. Gives you an idea of the scale.
The father wrote 6 novels, but if you include the ones his son Brien wrote it's over 20 including short stories. The Dune Universe is crazy, it would make an amazing GOT-type show with each season covering one book you could have a series that runs 20 years.😂.
@@barrywhite6060When it was originally announced, it was said it would be based on Sisterhood Of Dune. But with the delays and writer and direction strikes and show runner changes, that’s a bit less clear
There was one scene in a book where he rode a worm and the Spice gave him visions of an ambush, so Paul ordered a counter-ambush of their fleet and imprisoned them on their ship.
It feels like the first movie was just the intro to this one. A bit too slow paced. But this movie is like Villeneuves pitch or job interview for Dune: Messiah, Children of Dune and the whole Dune saga.
I think Messiah will be the last one and close off a good trilogy about Paul. Anything beyond that is too crazy for a big budget Hollywood movie anyway...
As a book fan for the past 20 years, I'm beyond hyped for this! On an unrelated note, I just used Sam's sweater to calibrate the color settings on my monitor. 🤣🤣
The book reads exactly like the manga DeathNote. It bounces back and forth between characters' inner thoughts, so you know exactly what everyone is thinking and how they're trying to outmaneuver one another. Plots within plots.
Both me and my wife enjoyed the first one. This looks like it has what we both love. Epic romance for her. Epic action for me. Epic level story for us both. Couldn’t be more pumped
3 trailers and not one single mention of one of the most important characters in the whole story: a talking baby with access to the collective knowledge and experiences of all of it ancestors.
May God always bless and enlighten you all and your families! May God always bless and enlighten whoever is reading this comment and your families too!
Y’know, I just realized… I first read Dune when I was 15… in 1984. Which means… Lynch’s version notwithstanding… I have been waiting 40 years for this movie. I am prepared for what is to come.
This is only 2 minutes of a movie that’s longer than 2 and a half hours! And this seems like a lot but if you’ve read the books you know that this barely scratches the surface on the second half
Maybe because I didn’t read the books or watch the original movie, pt.1 did nothing for me. I was bored most of the time. I will say these last couple of trailers for pt 2 has me intrigued. Just hope it keeps my interest.
Part 2 is supposed to be a more epic war like movie then what Part 1 was. To do the book justice it has to be done with more than one movie. The first half of the book didn't have a lot of action in it, it was more political. The second half is where the fun begins.
If you guys did not love the forst one, you will definitely not going to like this one, because this one has more politics, more slow moving parts, more complex storyline. Dune is not an action story like Star Wars, it's very political & dives into the human element rather than an action spectacle. If you really wanna enjoy Dune, you need to look at sci-fi movies from a whole different angle.
Bruh what happened to this channel…. Every video is the same now. A trailer comes out and you guys do a reaction, run dat ting back x 2 more times, same reaction everytime. How u gonna hype everything at the same level everytime lmao
