So Ix are MASTER assassins. With wired connections from the bottom of the right branch or the statecraft tree, any enemy territories against a node don’t count towards the limit for infiltration cells. Along with the counsellor that lowers all information requirements by one and research income not being used generates income, you can surround an enemy in nodes, using your nodes to bolster your defence of your territories and cage them in, then while you are fighting them, fill their lands with infiltration cells. Most games there are so many cells down by the time I start the infiltration that even if they were able to detect it right from the start, they just don’t have enough time to root out all the cells before it’s finished, made even harder by my tethered units defending the towns they know have cells all while they are still under the tethered buff. Add all of this with the fact you only actually need two people or a single bene witch and then every other slot can be an analytical machine, and that you have one of the best spice harvesting capabilities in the game bar the emperor and assassination becomes your primary method of victory.

Also Ix can EASILY send lone drones out into neutral or other faction territory to investigate points of interest since they have no supply, makes it great for getting quick boosts of resources.

You should also obfuscate Counter Measures if you want to go for assassinations, forcing everyone to only be able to have two counter intelligence agents instead of three. If you want to prevent a hegemony victory you can obfuscate craft shops. Removing militia upgrades can also be powerful. You can also remove seige incentives to deter base attacks or even remove logistics outposts to make it incredibly difficult for enemies to claim your territories along with the penalty for trying to take a territory next to two of your nodes. But by far my favourite power move is to remove maintenance centres later game when planning from the beginning not to use them, and completely crashing everyone’s economy with a single push of a button. It’s pure evil and I love it.

Is it me or today's generation wants to finish an entire RTS or 4X game as quickly as humanly possible. No real strategy other than a click fest. Sad. It's like ordering a full meal and scarfing it down as soon as possible, you hardly even taste what you ate....but hey, you finished it quickly.....you win.
