Yes! This is what i needed! I didn't even know there was a "merge" tool! *For all of you that are considering buying this product, don't hesitate! Best 20 Euros I have EVER spent!*
Why does scaling an object not preserve the resolution of the asset file? Why would I ever scale an object if it's just going to be a blown up pixelated mess? Am I missing something?
When I work on a project, it always becomes buggy after some time. Mostly I cant place more objects nor can I see any effects options. they are active and added, but the submenu is just missing.
I imported a map from donjon, but for some reason the corridors and rooms were not as shown on the generator, any ideas if I should change something in the txt file
Funny how it takes one little tutorial to completely change your view on a specific tool. The grid snapping tool was giving me hell, and I was really hoping it was able to be toggled. If you're having this issue yourself, you may want to look at around 3:33 for where to turn it off and on. Other than that little hiccup, I can really get behind Dungeon Painter Studio. Well worth my $15.
please give us a freehand tool for putting notes instead of just plain text. Also, the online version had better touchscreen support than this one (drag and drop / grouping was way better, its a little weird on this version) DPS is awesome, have been using it and its a good entry point for those who are starting to do dungeon design.
My DPS interface looks slightly different and I cant find the erase tool anywhere, nor the scale tecture... that whole bar is basically missing. Is there a way to add it?
I know it's a minor gripe, but can you have rotate counter clock wise and rotate clockwise changeable? I personally like z and x, and every little thing that you can switch/change to suit your style makes the program easier to use/faster.
When adding a wall to an ellipse, it creates an angular wall (like a dodecahedron of sorts), how do I create a smooth wall? is it something in settings. Help much appreciated
Great, DPS is a very good software to create your own maps ! Huge thank to you devs because it helped me a lot during my tabletop games with my friend because i used to play with maps that i found on internet but that wasn't consistent ! :D Oh, and buy it now because it's only 15€ because early access mention is still here !
Nice video, I was still wondering if I should buy the software but it definitely sold it to me! I really like how simple most of the functionalities are, yet you get a lot of customization options
You may add walls to single figures only. It's not a problem - copy your group, and combine the fills in the move mode (using Union [A + B + C] button), then enter into the group and call add wall on the resulting shape.
There is the button on the top toolbar. Click it to import an image, and choose it at texture browser on the bottom panel. You may enter to edit mode (edit button on the layer at the right panel) to change its size.
@@bangingthebeldam Templates are good if you want to import the sketch and paint over it, if you plan to use custom images as reusable textures like native (floors, objects, or walls) select one of the appropriate tools (for example, a rectangle for the floor, or a line for the walls) and select "add custom art to collection" from the top menu. This process is demonstrated in this video.
@@dungeonpainterstudio5481 nevermind. Got it now. Your product really is amazing. You should be taking us for $30 or $40. Couldn't be happier with the cost and quality of the product you put out. Congrats
