A Dunkin just opened up in my area recently was searching to see if it’s worth working there or not part time as a collage student

I agree, I’ve been working in the food industry and the amount of food being thrown away that is perfectly edible is blasphemous

@@maxwellgarcia_ UPDATE: honestly i did! the hardest thing is memorizing lattes and frozen stuff but all the other drinks are really easy. plus most of the people at my dunkin were very kind and offered me help the moment i was looking confused. dont be scared to ask how to make something! i worked with people today who have been there for 3 YEARS and STILL mess stuff up sometimes. its kind of chaotic, and during rush it can seem awful but once it gets past like 4/5pm it slows down and its honestly more boring than anything lol. dont be nervous about working anywhere, its just a job and at some point everyone else was the same as you! Also wanna say thank you for your video, i still get nervous thinking about going to work (i work again tomorrow and the next day) but if i managed today i have confidence i can manage two more! ❤ you helped me realize its just a job, not the end. if you mess up you just redo it. sure it takes a little longer but eventually you get through the order and before you know it youre standing around wishing someone would order something 😂

Once you understand the menu, it’s probably one of the easier fast food environments

It could get really busy

btw you have a really nice screen presence there are other kids in our school with youtube channels but usually its hard to watch

tbh, the job itself is easy especially if you are working off peak hours

Maybe 10 is slightly too little, expand to 7 hrs on Sat/Sun then it’s 14 and I think that is much more reasonable

@@magn1fique I didn't last long, there wasn't any communication between management and employee which is a huge no-no of mine. I liked the work, it was a bit hard to move in the narrow spaces during rushes but we got through alright. If you get a job there and they will actually train and communicate with you, and you're able to learn/do the work, I think you'll be fine. It's a lot of fast paced work since they have a certain amount of time they want drinks to be finished in, etc. And it's of course very customer focused. If you're not into making drinks, baking deli items, grabbing donuts and serving customers then you probably won't like it.

9 hours feels like a long time indeed but doing those hours in the evening is much easier than those same hours in the morning

Easy to learn, but can be tough if you work at a super busy one. Evening shifts are EASY tho

@@noblexswift I don't. I liked the job, it's not hard if you have multitasking skills. Though it was a bit hard to learn everything. The people I worked with were incredibly two faced.

i worked for the donut factory that makes the donuts for dunkins.. i delivered overnight .it was a chill jo b,gained some weight cuz when them pumpkin spice donuts came around my fatass couldnt stop eating lol

Is it true that besides free food+drink, that you can also BRING ALL THE EXTRA DONUTS AND MUNCHKINS HOME FOR FREE, at least when you close up?
