@@brentmann2988 I love the rich texture of the voices of yesteryear; Thurl Ravenscroft, Ernie Anderson, Danny Dark, Parley Baer, Joe Silver etc...voices today are weak, feeble and monotone. There's one ominous voice from Faces of Death trailer I can't name, it's here on RU-vid, any idea? I think it might be Vern Stierman but I might be wrong, any help is appreciated
@@zombiefulci3301 I don't know the name of the guy doing that movie trailer. But a really talented v/o guy who did a lot of ominous trailers back in the day was the actor Percy Rodriguez.
I made the donuts in the early 80's. Looking back it wasn't a bad job. The only thing I didn't like about it was that I had to work every weekend. The money was good, relatively speaking. I was paid $7.50 per hour when the minimum wage was about $3.00. If you knew what you were doing a night's production took about 4 hours, so I still got some sleep. My manager was a good guy. He'd leave a six pack in the cooler.
About 7 years ago I worked for a couple months for Dunkin. Physically it's not a hard job, but mentally it's exhausting. I know I used to dread the days going there and was exhausted afterwards. It was a happy day for me when I was able to move on.
Not made on site..any more..that was back then...today off site..i dont go there any more...i get mine at win dixie..on sat mornings nice and warm made fresh....again misd those day going there w my dad for coffee and a doenut...
The plus side was that people buy tons of donuts - well, that’s only a plus if the poor bastard in this clip owns the store and actually sees some of the profit from the sales. Instead, he’s just some schlub wage slaving his way to an early grave by never sleeping 🤣
