I’ve owned one for a little over a year. This demo is very representative of what the pedal sounds like. I love mine; it’s my main fuzz, and it knocked some other more expensive fuzzes off my board. One thing I especially like is that it’s the most amp-like dirt pedal I’ve ever owned. It sounds almost identical to my Super Lead with vol on 9-10. And with the SL in full overdrive, if I kick on the BOG, I don’t really hear much change in tone - just more sustain and a little more zipper. If you study the BOG record, it’s sometimes difficult to tell when you’re hearing just the Marshall vs fuzz on. The BOG recreates that perfectly. Having said that, it’s not really a ff circuit, and vol knob cleanup isn’t great. Maybe if you have a treble bleed or 50s wiring on your guitar, but I don’t. If you turn the fuzz way down, the cleanup is a little better, but it never really acts like a ff in that regard. I use an active vol pedal in front of my BOG and that works really well - the cleanup sound is great. But it’s not as fun as doing it with the vol knob.

I bought one when I saw the Instagram pic, I wanted to pick up this version of Jimi's fuzz, but the chrome was all I needed to go for it! Who doesn't love a little bling and a whole lot of tone!

The only thing that could make Andy's demo better would be if, half way through one of his immense Hendrix moments, he jumped up kicked the stool away then went down on his in from of the camera, so you couldn't see anything, just hear his amazing tone, then when he finishes slowly standing back up, hair all over the place, guitar feeding back..... 'errr excuse me..... ahem, errr...... sorry about that gentlemen.....cough....never happened before.....' departs, stage left.

omg, I was no longer watching my screen and I thought youtube automatically loaded a hendrix song for me... but no, it was Andy and his fuzz face... probably one of the closest hendrix tone I never heard. But quite sure it's not thanks to the ffm6, rather thanks to your finger... So not sure to purchase it... :D

Hmm I want to know why it cleans up so well for Andy... Did they give him something slightly different or was it post production? If you have owned and or played these then you know it doesn't clean up well. It will "clean up" but it also sounds like you rolled off your tone knob at the same time... I love this Fuzz and think it definitely has similarities to the "mystery" fuzz but Jimi's mystery fuzz definitely cleans up very well and remains bright unlike this pedal. Andy's rolling off the guitar volume and retains a bright tone, something ain't jiving as I own one and have tried several others to see if I just had a dud... Every one I've played darkens up when rolling off the guitar volume.

usually a fuzz and wah have compatibility problems - he should say how he got that wah tone. Buffer pedal between? Which? I feel these videos are not 100% honest. Good playing though
