Hey! I'm a fresher of St Chad's and I have been allocated to a single room in the Lightfoot this year. Maybe you know any interesting information about this lovely building? I just can't wait to join our college. Hahaha
Rachel_ Lyg hello! Congratulations! I don’t want to be biased to any college buildings! They are all lovely - Lightfoot is great! Obviously things are going to be running differently this year, but since it is St Chad’s I am sure you will have a great time regardless! Good luck with the move in! I know everyone is working hard to make sure the Freshers have a great time! 🥳
Jessie Wadham Hiya, for physics, we have academic advisor meetings once a term ( 3 terms in total a year). Tutorials for physics depended on modules. In first year I had 3 tutorials for three different modules every week. I’m not sure how much biology differs. I do have a few friends who do biology if you have any further questions dm me on Instagram and I would be happy to ask them any queries you may have ☺️
Georgiana thank you so much for responding so quickly, very useful stuff for me to know! I will definitely DM you if I have anything else to ask, that’s very kind of you. Thanks☺️
Thank you Georgiana! I was just wondering what are my chances of getting in? I’ve heard it’s very competitive and over subscribed. Was Chad’s your first choice ?
simran khalid-islam hey I changed my mind didn’t like the video so I’m gonna re do it btw! But I think if you’ve worked hard and you want to go there, you’ll definitely get in! I didn’t really know anything about over subscribed colleges / competitive ones before coming to Durham uni. I just picked Chad’s because it felt like home on an open day I attended. Chad’s was my first choice yes! I say you’ll be fine!!
Hello, so personally, I had a single room - which means I did not have to share. Natasha also had a single room. However, plenty of my friends shared rooms and they really enjoyed it! They became so close with the person they shared their room with and they found it useful to initially have someone to go to breakfast with etc. Please let me know if you have any further questions, I’d love to help!
@@pinkGwiZz I'm just really unsure which college to apply for. I do have a medical excuse however im not sure if it will be valid enough. i'm just really uncertain because I really loved chads when I came to the open day and I just loved the atmosphere, my other choices would be either st johns or hatflield. but I know that the chances of getting a shared room is greater at chads compared to all other colleges. ugh, im just stuck lol and I only have less than a week to decide :(.
