Can't believe how long this took me to edit and get up and it's still not quite where I would want it to be but I really wanted to just get over it and start posting again so I hope it's not too bad! I'm loving Durham University so far and probably will be trying to get into doing more videos of a similar vibe to this one. Hope you enjoyed xxx

Hi I’ve applied to Durham for next year what would you say the nightlife is like? I’ve heard that it’s not great but do people go to Newcastle most weeks for nights out? Thanks!

it’s not as bad as people say, you can definitely have a great night! newcastle is easy to get to but trains don’t run from 10pm- either 4/6am (can’t remember sorry.) basically if nightlife is a factor for you when picking, don’t worry you’ll be more than fine at durham :)

👏🏻join👏🏻clubs👏🏻and👏🏻societies👏🏻 something I WISH I’d done more of and will definitely do when I come back for 4th year! gets u making friends outside of nights out plus they have plenty of socials and you end up meeting their friends too.

there’s no limit to how many you can join so sign up for loads to get a taste of what sort of thing you fancy doing and the vibe they give off

I’m only a term in so I haven’t experienced a lot, the core modules are good for the most part so far and you only get to choose one optional in year one which is a bit meh but I’m sure it’ll get better :)

Unfortunately couldn’t watch the full video because the music you put in put me off! Helpful tip: choose Silent instrumental music instead! All the best with your studies. Apologies for sharing my sentiments but you will see others across RU-vid who don’t like this either
