Fully agree with rider choice of SPD pedal, for mortal like us, the saving in time lost when trying to clip in with road pedal is more than make up the difference in negligible power lost
I both tried SPD and SPD SL pedal, I don't think there's a loss of power transfer when using SPD pedal, I only noticed that your more connected to your bike when on road specific pedal
I was thinking of getting mtb pedals for my next bike because of the durability and the tons of shoes made for spd. I don't mind installing it on a road bike
The oem frames will always be slightly off from the original, when I see this legit Marcel Kittle colourway, the paintjob and decals are so much more vibrant👍 If i were considering my bike of choice last time, I would rather get a 2nd hand authentic sl6 rather than my oem frame 🙂
@@agutojason Whatever it is, OEM also cheap and low quality. Same to OEM Car Parts. I always buy OEM parts, lower price, but build quality not so good compare to original. Give you example, car head/rear amp, it is still OEM and copy design from original manufacturer. What about Trifox, obviously copy from Specialized. Any opinion?
I agree on having a trainer is the biggest upgrade to your fitness. The trainer actually allows your body or legs to get used to a certain tempo and watts output. When I first tried an indoor trainer for a few months then ride outside especially against headwinds I was able to easily maintain effort like it was normal simple because that's how it felt on my trainer.
With such a short reach you can go 2 size smaller! Stiffer bike, more aero, and better handling (though I think you are used to the handling by now). Try 36mm bars too! I'm 178cm but 38mm bars are fine for me.
I won't LIE, tell Sam Lie Durianrider would be so proud is his going back to rim brakes. Rim Brakes for fkin EVER! I like the idea that a niche might eventually evolve. Very intelligent observation!
This is the last Tarmac generation that's easy to work on, even for a home mechanic. One of the riders I know sticks with his to ease the workload of whoever's working on his Tarmac SL6 Disc. All variants are good in their own right, yes, even the seemingly bland-looking FACT 9r Tarmac SL6 Disc.
