Outlaw of thunder junction collector boxes are 170 on Amazon right now from WOTC. They flat-out do not have it dialed in tight enough yet. Dusk mourn allocations probably reflect the packs in the TV boxes but also the packs for the buy a box promos

I just can’t get into these contemporary sets as a collector. Magic was so much better when it was high fantasy / sword and sorcery. I’m an old fart though.

I still think that Crimson Vow and Midnight Hunt bombed was cause of the reversible cards. No one wanted to deal with that nonsense. Then the overprinting was the nail in the coffin.

As much as I like this set, idk what to do with it? I want to have this with Modern but almost every competitive format is fucked. Oh wells.

Rudy, listen, if I liked intelligence and money I would not be collecting Magic. That ship has sailed.

Whoever likes Play boosters must not draft. I get drafting is not that sexy yet a modest set of players do draft and thus have a worse drafting experience (Sealed impacted even more). (I don’t think there needs to be separate SKUs at the lower end of product. Just make sure this singular SKU allows players to draft and is attractive enough for players pick up, for whoever is buying current Play boosters)

Preorder single prices for this set for cards not exclusive to collector boxes look rather weak. I frankly hope this set collapses

So i checked all the cards from the set including commander. It turned out its not far away from Crimson Vow. Its not as weak but also riddled with weak cards and weird mechanics that wont play too well. The only thing that might help the price stability is a tiny print run.

Capital one increased my limits! Time to double down and stay the course!

This is the first set since...Crimson Vow...that I didn't preorder on Magic Arena. Set looks like shit, but that's just my feeling.

I think part of the Buying on TCG and such sites is that they don't know you exist/are not able to ship Globably

I think, but could be 100% wrong about Duskmourn Collector Boxes: Most WPN or WPN premium store around got their allocations, but other resellers (Either non WPN or reseller without a brick and mortal store) received virtually nothing (No collector noosters or nightmare bundle, other skus are OK)

The hype at my store for Dusk is lower than Murders was. . . . Remember when Rudy was sp right about how well Assassins Creed would do?! This set will be a flavor fail just like Murders and the only thing that will separate it from Crimson Vow is that the print run wont be as obnoxious as Vow was.

Niche theme, no serialized cards, top pulls look like Pokemon cards and kind of a limited amount of good commander cards. The success of this set will heavy depend on this set having cards that are highly desirable in standard and modern. I’m guessing after Halloween nobody will want this set.

I loved Karlov's cheaper price and the invisible ink cards were cool.
