This is a Jet DC1100X Dust Collector that I had previously modified into a two stage unit. I recently built a Onefinity CNC, and so, will be running the DC for extended periods of time.
This idea is not mine, I found this mod on a Stumpy Nubbs video and so set about copying it.
I used a piece of scrap plywood to make the bucket support.
The lid, for the 5 gallon (Home Depot) bucket was about $12 (www.amazon.com.... I cut the center out of the lid and attached it to the plywood with sheet metal screws and then applied a bead of silicone caulk to seal it.
The foam seal for the came from Home Depot ($8). One packet did the circumference twice.
The three toggle clamps also came from Amazon (a long time ago, so I don't have the link).
The pink Foamboard is mainly 1", but I also used so 2" in a couple of places. I glued the Foamboard in a couple of places with Gorilla Construction adhesive (it specifies Foamboard on the label)
