Good Lord, I've heard some really superb renditions of Dust My Broom, but this one hits the perfect balance between Rock and Blues. Elmore James is smiling down from Heaven at this version! Fantastic in all ways!
Great tone - the low notes are especially killer and crunchy. I like the fingerpicking and how you slide into the chord changes too - kind of leisurely but still in time. I did a take on this song under Rosetta West - Elmore's Blues. I hope you like it if you have time.
@@DenisSanacore No sir, Robert Johnson bought his guitar from a music store in Missouri. The picture of him holding the guitar and he had no hat on was taken in Steele Missouri. The guitar was bought in Caruthersville MO
Ok you are already a 1 man quartet I'm just curious have you ever tried the old John Lee Hooker trick of setting a peice of plywood on 4 cinder blocks and then dropping a microphone in a baggie in a glass of water then stomping his foot to create a drum effect, stomping close to the glass for bass drum farther away for toms?
@@DenisSanacore great, the reason I asked was when I showed your video to my brother he asked what band you were in, and I said who the hell does he need to which he said a drummer mabie? I immediately thought of John Lee! I love your music man, have a tremendous day
@@pughoneycutt1986 Thanks Man, I have just listened to Seasick Steve this week and it was great, he is stopping on a wooden box for rythme, it brings a great groove. I will go check Johnn Lee Hooker setup . Have a great day !
