Here is a hard mud offroad trail with my Dacia Duster (Renault Duster) 1.5 115 HP vs a Suzuki Jimny. It was a pretty extreme ride that day. Watch until the end to see how the cars performed.

OK, same adventure, another angle 👍. Already commented on Duster. Absolutely great demo of what can be done in difficult muddy potholes + that annoying slimy side angled trail along the wooden fence (just after the place where JImny was stuck). Not familiar with Jimny's technical specs but both the car and driver seems to show more self confidence and go over terrain with ease and no need for added inertia (like Duster needs). I would argue, because of the shorter axle span/better low gear ratio and slightly better 4x4 traction system....waiting eagerly what happened at that super steep forest tractor trail....without inertia no one climbs that one, I bet...hope all went good and safe though 😁

salut, aici sunt cu amortizoarele inaltate.

Eu sunt de parere ca atunci cand faci o comparatie, trebuie sa folosesti acelasi profil de anvelopa, sau cat mai asemanator, si aceleasi imbunatatiri ( suspensie, troliu, blocanti - in unele cazuri ). Nu unul cu MT si +5, altul cu AT si fara SL. Si ambii soferi cu experienta ( nu contest ca in acest caz nu au ). Altfel, poti compara cum se comporta pe zapada un 4x4 cu anvelope de vara si un logan cu anvelope de iarna. Este cam acelasi lucru. Imi place clipul, dar nu pot aprecia comparatia pentru nu este corecta.

Nu cred ca au facut un comparativ. Pur si simplu au iesit la o aventura cu masinile 4x4 in padure...etc. Este problema soferului de Jimny ca a iesit in off-road mai dificil cu astfel de anvelope. Lumea mai iese si la distractie. Eu unul nu as cumpara un astfel de Duster scos ulterior la vanzare :)))

La minutul 14:30 trebuia sa rotești volanul spre stanga. Nu sa tragi cu troliu in contra rotii. Poți rupe capul de bara asa. 2. Niciodată nu sta lângă cablu troliului cand e in sarcina. Daca cedează.... reteaza tot inclusiv capete picioare etc 3. In ce zona e filmat? 4. Fa un video cum iti speli masina dupa asa o sesiune offroad cu noroi. E foarte important pt toti care fac offroad spălarea masinii după.

Ms de sfaturi. 1. Tot încercam sa ii spun șoferului, nu a fost pe faza . 2. Nu am stat chiar lângă cablu dar puteam sa stau și mai departe de el.😁 3. Tot prin zona Brodina . 4. Și așa e totul pe fuga când filmăm, dar îmi fac timp o data sa înregistrez și cum o spăl 😁

Jimny daca avea cauciucuri 195 80 R 15 sa fie doar unpic mai inalt nu ramanea nici suspendat.Daca avea MT AT sa nu mai zic de Simex nu avea obstacol.Oricum foarte bine sa prezentat in teren si cu cauciuc.de strada.

@@DusterCoolTravels l see from your comment you state the Suzuki Jimny has a petrol engine but from the video it sounds like a diesel, if it is a petrol engine it sounds very rough as if the camshaft is badly worn.

Guys, why are you torturing the cars with street tyres? At least put some hybrid street-legal offroad tyres. Otherwise you really can't see well what the Duster is capable of.
