Wow, im so glad i got to watch the rise of mcgregor! It was meteoric! He had some hype up to this point from his Left hand and his personality, but i hadnt seen a live connor fight until this one & i thought this was gonna be a good close fight! Poirier was ranked like 3 & was supposed to the next upcoming champ until connor quickly shot up. After seeing connor calmly, swiftly and confidently Knock dustin out, i never doubted him again, not until khabib.

That was an illegal stoppage. Dean should have been fired and not only that McGregor was allowed to hit on back of the head. If it was the other way around, the fight would have been separated, and both would’ve stood back up and re-squared up. Dustin was robbed and he has one all three.
