Bret Hart is a bitter man. He buried the hatchet with Goldberg years ago, only to get angry at him again when Goldberg wrestling in WWE again. He could've get most people stay looking at him as a good person with justified bitterness after he forgave HBK, but him not only keep blasting at Triple H, but become angry at Goldberg again, made people look at him with more skeptical look.

Dutch is correct on the legality of the NDA ‘if’ the WWE funded or agreed to the paperwork without board member approval, as WWE is a public traded company. If the NDA & the settlement payment was made personally by Vince McMahon, then the WWE is not accountable

Didn't Bret lose respect for Vince after Montreal? Then after Owen died? And, yet... He eventually went back just solidify his legacy. I'm not trying to dismiss or downplay the allegations being made about Vince (Far from it). But this indignancy by some fans and some former talent is more than slightly hypocritical. It's not like Vince didn't have any dirt under his fingernails prior to the last five, ten, fifteen, twenty years. People didn't have a problem turning a blind eye up until this point. And to be clear, I'm not saying they should now... But there are varying degrees of culpability that need to be attached to every member of the mob coming after Vince. It's very similar to when Benoit killed his wife and kid and certain fans continued watching/enjoying his matches by saying, "I can separate the art from the artist." Or how, back in the day, wrestlers "didn't know" about Grizzly Smith's proclivities despite things whispered loudly behind closed doors. Vince stayed in power and was able to get away with EVERYTHING he got away with for a reason... And it wasn't just because of money and his "inner-circle".

Not because of this, it just sort of put the thought in my head, but I wouldn't be surprised if Brett Hart was just as much of a creep in some way. As great as he was (and he was one of the best) he's always come off to me as so unlikeable because he's always on a high horse about something. People like that who constantly want to tell you how bad everyone else is ALWAYS turn out to be the worst people when their dirty laundry is exposed. I think it's like an insecurity thing. Like, they know how terrible they are so they want you to look down at everyone else to put them on the same level.

@IStevenSeagalthe HBK handshake seems like it could be genuine. Of course they’ll never be best friends but the respect was there and I think they really did want to put that behind them at that point in their lives. The Vince thing was probably fake. I said it in another post but that Bret/Vince WM match was atrocious. They didn’t need to do it and by the middle to end of that match nobody cared. It was awkward.
