This video is a comparison of the Dutch Shepherd versus the average man in combat. The Dutch Shepherd is a powerful and versatile dog that is often used as a police dog, military dog, search and rescue dog, and personal protection dog. The man in combat is an average person dressed up in an army uniform with a weapon. The Dutch Shepherd is better trained and has a better temperament than the average man in combat, but the man in combat is better equipped and has a greater range of weapons.

I get to work damn near every Saturday with Sike and his team. This is the most positive environment I’ve ever been in. My dog and I are fortunate to get to work with these guys. They know what we need, they give us nothing but positive advice teach us how to advance our training and most importantly give us a solid foundation. Nick and his wife are awesome people as well I’ve gotten to see their dog work a bunch of times he is amazing this video is just a small clip of what he’s about. Nothing but positive things to say about these folks.

Such niche training, training a dog to bite flesh takes CONFIDENCE. You have to trust your training and owner to teach this. But looks like you guys are smashing it

Nice work, my Second GSD was all about the flesh ,after a year of training he would just bypass the sleeve or the suit to get a piece of the head or any type of flesh. You do real nice work

That's a true protection dog! We do full muzzle work. Our dogs don't understand what equipment is. Awesome job my friend🙏

Beautiful work. I will trust a canine to protect my wife and children, over any human or technological alarm system. This brother is very dedicated to his craft. The only thing I don't advocate which comes from sport ritual, is the rubbing of the dog on head whilst in war. You rub our dogs in a war situation, your fingers will be severed. The dogs neurological development should be tactically inclined. The Dutch shepherd is nicely bonded with the wife.

I had the opportunity to work with a couple of Checoslovakian Sheppards. Very capable but not as high strung as the Malnios it was a pleasure engaging with them

I like protection dogs that are trained to bite anywhere. Too many dogs only go for specific locations on their target and that can be problem. Nice work.

That's because dogs that know how to target are superior to dogs that don't. Just like a human fighter. Certain targets are superior to winning engagements.

@@jfkst1 So if a dog is trained to go after a humans arm and the person hides his arms in his jacket or something, it will confuse the dog and you don't know what the dog will do. They may go after empty sleeves on the persons jacket. That's not great. So a dog that will bite anywhere won't hesitate at all, just like a human fighter that is capable of beating an opponent in all different fighting styles. Being diverse is superior to winning engagements.

The dog is very calm when the trainer attacks him, which is impressive. However, he knows the trainer who "made" him. If he were so calm when a stranger (trainer or real attacker) provoked him that much, then this would be the super protection dog!!!
