Story
How could one possibly know what the life of a Dutch soldier deployed in Afghanistan looks like? Fokking Hell! offers an unique point of view by using footage shot by soldiers themselves, standing three feet away from an explosion or a fellow soldier firing a gun. The impressive images captured in Uruzgan are combined with interviews with soldiers of various ranks, talking frankly about their opinions and feelings towards the mission. This combination has resulted in a raw, candid documentary showing the real experiences of the Dutch soldiers in Uruzgan.

There's usually 3 ways you react to a situation like this. You either fight, flee or just get paralysed. Yes they shout and laugh a lot, but these are the people who chose to fight with an incredible adrenaline rush but are trained to know exactly what they are doing. YounesMoDz, de Nederlandse soldaten lijken onprofessioneel Door al hun adrenaline. maar doordat ze het allemaal uitschreeuwen kunnen ze hun adrenaline wat lager houden dan dat ze niet schreeuwen. daardoor hebben ze alle missies succesvol voltooid. maar als iemand op je schiet, kan iedere kogel je dood zijn. Ook als je iemand raakt en hij sterft, die hij kon misschien een vader zijn van een paar kinderen of een jonge man die nog een heel leven voor zich had. ik heb een Nederlandse soldaat gesproken die ook op missie was, hij zegt dat het heel moeilijk is om iemand neer te schieten. maar ik ben het wel met je eens dat ze wel heel deel schelden!

Dutch Army are great soldiers. I wanted to be a soldier and it never happened because I got P.T.S.D and its worsened over time not improved. You don't heal from traumatic pain. You can't call their reaction or technique "Unprofessional" that is rubbish. They are very professional. Okay let me explain this to you, EVERY NATO country is amazed about what Dutch units can achieve with much lesser men. The US needs about 20 guys for 1 patrol, The Dutch can do this with 10/11. When you give the orders to 20 soldiers from Germany en 20 from The Netherlands to build a bridge, without a chief the German soldiers wont do anything. the Dutch use there own brain instead of waiting for a commander. This info is given to my by a captain of the Dutch Marines.

It's in a combination with anger towards the Taliban that they start cursing. But don't you ever think that trained soldiers like this are blind in a troublesome situation.

I don't want to backseat and I don't know anything about this squadron other than these few out of context clips.. But with 90% loud banter that makes them deal with the situation, I see little space for order and focus. Idk I may just be used to how precise and coordinated other squadrons were in more recent videos.

Okay look everyone, I'm sorry if my comment offended a lot of you, and I have nothing but the utmost respect for these troops, and the only reason I said they don't look that professional was because the amount of profanity they were using, not because of their training. These guys are kicking MAJOR ass, their training is obviously top notch.

@@getcancer1542 I already say those words in a game. I wouldn't know what I would say in real life but probably worse then they did. What those soldiers did was just normal talk in League of Legends or Call of Duty for me.

I think both sides state valid points. I think these are army folks, in the marines or special forces you can expect more discipline, but this is pretty much what I expect from the regular army where its completely logical that extreme emotions arise
