Duviri Looks Awesome, Stalker Frame, Hildryn Prime, Incarnon Expansion & More Dev 168 

For those with long memories, eons and eons ago the original presentation of what would become Sanctuary Onslaught sounds like "The Circuit", an endless level dungeon of different missions that would loop one after another with increasing modifiers or bonus objectives.

The colors in the Duviri's demo were so Guardians of the Galaxy awesome. Really loving the visual style. And as someone, who was waiting for Hildrin Prime for a looooooooong time - easily the most "I will tear your head off and you'll love see me doing it" frame to date. She look good. Also, after seeing the local fishing just after closing Maneater to watch the vid I went: "I see what you did there".

The whole dam bakery prime is coming.

I'm glad they are focusing on gameplay rather than fishing/mining or bounties. The big part of fun of warframe is always testing weapons and frames and to become powerful, so if they actually nail those two things they are doing the right thing for this big update, very excited.

This feels like it brought risk of rain style progression and gameplay to Warframe and if what I'm imagining its like is actually how it plays I'm going to have SO much fun in this mode

starting from duviri will be such a cool experience for new players, honestly makes the new war make way more sense

I'm of the opinion that after this next expansion. They need to focus on massively restructuring the game and its core systems.

I was most hyped for the incarnan prime weapons. Thought it was just stock ones.

Hildryn Prime looks thicc! The open world looks so pretty. That skybox is so nice! Would love to have that as an animated wallpaper or something. And those deluxe skins coming also looks pretty cool. Surprised about the Incarnon(sp?) system is gonna include prime weapons, but cool.

It's been almost 3 years since I last played Warframe. Duviri looks like the update that might bring me back, for a bit at least. And if the new player experience really is streamlined and feels better. I might get a couple buddies I know damn well haven't played Warframe, and see if I can get them hooked. I always found it easy to sell the idea of Warframe. But once I get someone playing with me. It was so hard to keep them engaged. Warframe's "old?" early game, turned off a lot of people in my experience.

I think Duviri looks pretty neat. Now I just need them to get cross-save done so I can recover my long neglected Xbone account. Though, Duviri does look like a decent option to dip my toe back in as a "new" player on PC, so I might do that.

I am most excited for the quest and wyrm boss fight

One thing im curious of is if those Drifter Intrinsics count for the main game, like we can play as the Drifter with dual swords, and other actuall guns in survival missions or extermination with your Warframe

I assume that our runs in duviri will be working towards our more traditional unlocks or just recourse to spend with teshin maybe? I would also guess you get better reward chances on how long you last like normal rotations. Being forced into using diffrent weapons and frames is a great way to make us experiment. I might just unmod all my frames so that I can experience the random mods the game will give me. Dam i am really excited for this!

My main question with that devstream was how quests would work if you started in duviri instead of with vor's prize. The quests we have at the moment work with our origin system, frames and some kind of order with regards to unlocking quests but starting in duviri should in theory make that impossible. Duviri seems way more drifter focussed, so second dream, new war, war within and quests like mirage or archwing would need a lot of tweaking and changing then if you start with duviri instead of origin system right?

Shade Prime somewhat resembles one of Ivara's Tennogen helmets

Prisma Shade works great with Citrine for increasing confusion even more. Just spam abilities and jump around once you go invisible, it makes you even more tanky.

I was most excited to be able to wield weapons as the drifter. But if they can't use them in the base game then I'm kinda disappointed

I skipped past most of it because I just wanted to see the primes and the incarnon weapons, but I did catch the 'optional start with Duviri' part. While I don't doubt that they've done three games worth of work, it really feels like just now we're actually getting that 'Warframe 2', between the first major arch finally completed, changes in design philosophy (for better or worse... mostly better), and this large expansion. And thats what happens with log haul MMOs, yeah there are giant expansions, but the one that resets, the one that either overhauls old content or has a fast track option, thats the expansion that makes it feel like a new game. And we're getting their actual next game sometime in the near future. It feels sad to know were back to pre-plains numbers, and I question if even Duviri can change that since word of mouth only goes so far with a game that people have tried, dropped, tried again, and dropped again... but I don't know, I'm excited to play Warframe rn, even before this drops.

The one thing I didn’t understand was the intrinsics, are those actually new intrinsics that you have to level up with this new area or are they using your existing intrinsics and just giving them different abilities for this area?

So glad they're adding different types of matchmaking which actually alter the type of world you go into.

I haven't seen anyone talk about this, but I feel as though the duviri paradox is going to significantly lower the impact of the second dream. You'll know someone is controlling the warframes, and the stalker won't be surprising. As you would've literally played as him.

So much to do now, it's going to be crazy!!! Kind of overwhelming.

I usually hate rogue lite games, but his might be the mode which will reconcile me with them. And no mining is pure joy XD

So can we get an option to spawn in our dormizones or are they just going to continue to be unused? Nobody is going to use the "flavor way" of getting to duviri otherwise.

Nice and beautiful, but what about end game rewards? Are there gonna be more amp weapon types for drifter except sirocco? Can you mode them let's say with new arcanes and maybe put more than 2 arcanes? Or special mods like on your parazon? They could expand this really awesome but also can go the way that always been like Kal missions.

I still want [Daikyu] Prime and [Elytron] Prime. Edit: and Dual [Braton Prime]. We need more double assault rifle secondaries.

Man, i really like the setting and look of the duviri paradox. But I don't like that DE keeps making game modes that are fundamentally not what warframe is and I'm wary of most roguelikes. Never seen an open world roguelike before though, could be interesting.

DE has changed for the better, they have a great future and I'm glad to be part of this game since it's early buggy times

i can only imagine someone starting with duviri and seeing that hand falling from sky, to much later when doing the new war to point it up and realize it was here, but the internet spoils everything. but oh god, hildryn prime is hideous , what the frick is that circle on her helmet, and those things around her, feel i will be getting stuck in most corridors, i will probably use the default skin , unless it grows on me, or a video explaining the inspiration make some sense of it.

They should increase it to 100lv

Having an option to just borrow a warframe to try out is so good. I completed like 90% of a game with a friend (I'm playing more tho, he's not that invested) and he have just a handfull of frames because he don't want to farm frames. He might not like one. I get his point tho. But there is so... SO MANY good and fun frames but RNG-esus might be angri at the moment and won't drop that one part -,-
