Thanks for the video. And to DWARFLAB, take your time in the testing phase. I didn’t rush to sell my D2 and thanks to the recent software upgrades, I’m enjoying it more than ever, so ship the D3 when you are confident it’s correct.

I think I will have a good test for the D3. We live on a sailboat, and, next spring we're heading to the Bahamas and then beyond. If it survives the ocean, it can survive anything.
@@GalaxyArtMedia well of course, though I have seen the Dwarf follow a helicopter flying behind trees, so, it can track. You KNOW I am gonna try at least a wide angle shot. Right now, we live in a marina, and, the darkest place around is on the boat (the shoreline has WAY to much street lighting). I'll be trying on calm nights anyway. Wonderful thing digital photography. Comes out bad? Hit the delete button! With film, we would shoot, take it to be developed and hope for the best.
@@waccooga you can try also the wide lens to capture the milky way maybe with a few seconds exposures the images might turn out good. Please let me know about the results
@@GalaxyArtMedia Will do! I have not tried any astro-pho in a long time (Hale-Bopp was my last serious attempts). I am looking forward to having fun with the D3, but, I also want to do things like follow variable stars, comets and other things (from land).

The Dwarf 3 I hear does not come with a replaceable battery, so before I order one I would like to know what the total life span of the battery is tbh.
hey, as someone who is interested in astrophotography and is new getting into it, would you recommend this device for pre-order or should i wait for any bugs/issues to be ironed out first? i am very interested in buying it, i was going to get the dwarf 2 some time early this year but had to put the interest to the side due to life events.
Hello. I think most of the bugs will be fixed in beta testing before release and i don t think getting it earlier would be a problem. Personally i would like to get it as fast as possible and capture some deep sky objects of the season and the Milky way under the dark sky. I think if you preorder you will get it faster then waiting, i read that dwarflab will start to ship in order of the preorders. First orders first and so on. I hope this information will help.
