Tim has come in to pay a game of 8th Edition Fantasy using the studio's Dwarf army against Cullen and his Skaven. It's a good old fashion grudge match as the Skaven try to tunnel into the Dwarfs fortress.

Could tell the Dwarves were going to get obliterated as soon as I saw the army comps. Not to mention Warp Lightning Cannons turn 1.

I don’t think it would have changed anything but the slaves wounding the warriors should be on 5s? T4 dwarfs and S3 Slaves?

When the character joined the unit, is the unit allowed to move afterwards? Warp lightning cannons are so broken. 2/3 chance of being S4+ AND a template AND D6 wounds plus not effected by terrain.

I don't think it's that likely. Assuming your cannon doesn't blow up, it usually only delivers like that once per game assuming it fires at least 4 turns. I've never seen a WLC perform like it does in this batrep. The cannon needs to hit the unit like standard, then you roll its bounce and if you get a misfire you don't even get the cannon ball effect and nothing happens. Also you don't usually need a ST4, you're hoping for ST6+ to make the target worthwhile. What this usually looks like in practice is a 50/50 roll (I'm sure better aimers can bump that up to 66%) and follow by a 50/50 roll.
