I have always been a fan of Dwights' and thanks for putting this on YT for everyone to enjoy. Sound was a little sketchy but I enjoyed the video just to get a look at Ole' Dwight as Buck used to call him. RIP Buck.
Yeah, OMG super thanks, from me. Y. T. Brilliant. Dwight is just soooo awesome. Hope he just keeps on going. He is enjoying it sooo much. About the only artist, I have seen. That digs deep, gives his fans the full treatment. Luv Luv him, and the band. Brilliant. 🇮🇪🍀💚
Dwight and his band are the Greatest love them, Dwight has a beautiful and a good heart, Love you Dwight , he brought music back alive, Thanks Dwight and your band
Thank you for this post! "Things change", but Dwight yoakam just gets better! And better! Saw him and the band in concert Nov.2021. Already planning to go again! Fun fun and fun! We loved it!
It’s sad his career is in decline, but we still have all his old stuff to listen too. There’s no such thing as an ordinary day ,enjoy each day God has allotted you here on earth 🌍 life is precious..🙏
Maybe he'll make another album, maybe not. Artists make more money touring than on streaming music these days it seems. I will say he still gives a good show and seems to enjoy performing.
It was an amazing concert. We flew in from Ft. Laud to see him. The man NEVER stopped, didn't take a breath, just went from one song to another. Best concert and venue was great. Loved the rotating stage. He sounded GREAT !!! Thanks for the video Scott
Cheers for posting Scott 👍🏴🥃 saw him country to country UK couple of years back great artist even his new band are certainly livng up to the expectations of his original line up 👏love the revolving stage thing that puzzles me with that is how the heck don't the electrical cables get tangled and what was the sound like with the movement 👍👏
Thanks for the comment. Not sure how the electrical cables worked, but I didn't see a problem. My guess is they had power to the stage in some kind of turret that the stage rotated around. Not visible in the video was the arena sound system, which had speakers above the stage with 360 degree placement. So the sound was the same regardless of which way the stage was pointed.
Yes, a great show. I am in the video too : ) on left side, 2nd row, apparently bald head, black sweatshirt, on the aisle. My buddy is actually bald head...lol. He hardly seems to be in his seat though (sorry ladies)
Dwight ... get a beautiful and large, large, large group of guys and girls doing the same dance steps you do. Trust me, this would be beyond anything great in music on stage.
Well, I'm glad to see there are so many Dwight fans on this page but is it just me or is the audience more than just a little subdued? Is it because of the seats? Through the years I've seen him maybe 5 or 6 times and back then nobody, I mean NOBODY would have just sat and watched. The crowd would have been up on their feet and moving around and dancing around a bit. And the girls were always pushing their way up to the front and we'd be cheering and singing a little, I see that they seem to finally come around towards the end of the show. It just seems to me that his audience there should have been more engaged-certainly more appreciative-deserves it, he's one of the greats.
Thanks for the comment. The crowd was a little subdued but were on their feet for the last few songs. I didn't get much good video for some of those as my view was blocked. With the rotating stage, did get some good video of the crowd, and not just the backs of the heads in front of you. Most seemed to be having a great time. The only ones I couldn't figure out were the few with front row seats who didn't look like they wanted to be there! It was a great show.
If you didnt want to be there, you dont love Dwight..I would give anything to have been there, and yes I think its the height of rudeness,to keep leaving your seat for whatever, ignoranc knows no bounds...love ya Dwight
