I was a tower crane operator and a rope access technician. This places and heights can make my heartbeat boost over all. The wind, the noises, the rumbling are very realistic. You can adapt to heights but your life instinct dominates all over exept the last jump :D
Me and my buddies had some good laughs climbing this thing without the grappling hook. Wish the whole game felt as challenging and rewarding as this task
The building doesn't look all that high (compared to the surrounding towers) from ground level but if you make it to the top,...whoa!! Helluva view,...great job 👍
Im a photographer so when I see games using these muddied filters it kind of baffles me. As good as the graphics may be the watered down colors make no sense to me. Couldve made this game incredibly gorgeous and still had the same scare factor.
@btnhstillfire I agree but that's colours are easily customizable with nvidia's new app and the deal breaker is rtx dynamic vibrance which takes colours to a whole new level!!
After I watched this video I thought I'd see what other interesting videos you have since gaming "guides" and 100% walk-throughs are fun to watch, and it gives me a chance to see how a game looks, and plays, and if I really like it I'll stop the video(sometimes), and I'll buy the game. I've been a gamer for a long time. Back to the Atari 2600 days. War games like Socom: Navy Seals, Rainbow Six, Call of Duty, etc have been some of my favorites. I definitely subscribed to your channel since you cover many of the type of games I enjoy. Thanks and take care.
The sense of parkour in this game is excellent. In Assassins Creed climbing is just "running vertically". There is no sense of jeopardy climbing in those games (though I do like them). I like the idea of the yellow motif that lets you know where you could climb. But you can ignore those. If it looks like you should be able to reach and grab in DL games, then 99 times out of 100... you can.
Lol the difference has nothing to do with AC's design or programming. They did the free climbing very well, even a decade ago. The differences you're thinking of are the stamina bar and FIRST person camera lol
It's a mission to climb it after all and it's one of the best parts of the game easily The music REALLY kicks in and takes it to the next level too when you're climbing in the mission
@@DivvayKhatri True! My favourite mission so far but sad to see that all the soldiers including Rowe died😔😔 It was really horrific to see Rowe's hand cut off
@@oyoyoyoyo901 night runners also were injecting themselves with inhibitors to make them faster stronger and all that this is the route the would have taken if they weren’t set up and ambushed on the way up
I was so excited to finally see a video of someone making it to the top, so i can do the same. Then came the door at the top of the stairs, which was closed for me unable to opened. RIP 20 minutes of going all the way up there for nothing
How we humans create buildings of these epic proportions never ceases to amaze me and yet for all our genius we seriously lack intelligence where Empathy and peace is concerned.
I'm gonna have nightmares on this after that fall scene that instantly wake up that i thought i was dead even my bottom and feet are litte numb and weak when looking down....... that give me chills....
Bro games this day and age, they just keep amazing me. They're so realistic and fine looking. When in played Uncharted on PS3 I was in awe of how amazing it looked. Especially the jungle. But this? This is on another level. Big time.
same! I just tried to climb this damn tower and cant go any higher. Decided to watch a video on it, and guys doors are open when mine are shut. How do we get the door to open?! Uodate: Found out that the door is opened as part of a story mission.
@@conroygreyfin7011 same process up to 2:35, except instead of jumping across to the other building, you can drop down and climb the metal scaffolding just off the building (what you normally grapple across). then you have to do some cheese climbing up the sides... I could show you sometime.. feel free to shoot me a message and i can get in discord with you if you are curious!
Yes, I did it without the grapple, just have to be crafty and you need wall runner, tic tac and the one skill that combines them. I made it all the way to the top, claimed the night runner area up top and I haven’t even beaten the game yet!
@@DovedRoses Yeah me and my buddy just spent a little bit figuring it out yesterday but it's doable. You need wall running to do it and a decent amount of stamina but if you look around there are some big spots that you can just skip that make it way easier.
With no manual save in the game, I can't tell you how frustrated I was with this climb. I hate high places and this game gave me a heart attack all the time. I might have actually enjoyed it if I had had a manual save point, but my own frustration level boiled over and ultimately made me hate this game. LOL All that being said, your climb is incredible. Aces to you. 🤘
Wtf. I'm on the broadcast mission. I'm waiting for Matt to contact me so I can climb the tower and the grappling hook finally. For fun while waiting I tried climbing the tower just now and when I get to the part where you jump to the other building and go up the elevator shaft and the stair sets, then when you get to the top that door is open and you go to the roof but for me that door is still closed and I can't get to the roof. Does that only open when you do the mission?
You can skip that entire door by dropping down to those railings at 2:43 (bottom left) and then shimmying across them and across the cables, then you can climb the yellow crane and glide across to where he ends up, I haven't done the mission but I got to the top without the grappling hook
i got to the top without the grappling hook, when you're at the spot way up where that teeter totter part, you go the opposite way, jump and use the parachute fully modded of course and you can land on the angled part and then just climb up, using the parachute in one or two spots.
You have to get to the top for one of the missions if I remember correctly. Took quite a while but I did most of the same thing you did. They had fixed the grappling hook thing though when I started.
Good job but when you're up there you could try being a bit more cinematic. Camera gets very jumpy when you're looking out once you're at the highest point. A slow pan would've been nice. I had to pause the video to try to make sense of what I was seeing.
