If I’m not mistaken, does Aiden occasionally laugh as he’s parkouring? I love that little touch I’m not sure how it fits in lore-wise (if it fits in with the tone of the game) but it definitely syncs up with how the player feels as they do these moves Gives a bit of levity to the otherwise serious story.
He laughs when you do seamless parkour stream and perform risky moves that pay off. So he's laughing because of the adrenaline rush of connecting all of these moves well.
I’ll tell you a secret. When you slide then kick after, you do a ledge vault, and when you jump twice after a safe landing, you do a high vault. Shhh, this is very good information!
I'll try to replicate something I pulled off in state of dumb luck and die to literally anything around me if I try hard rnouth. This is nuts yo I have a lot to learn about running under pressure and not bugging out
While this isn't the case, the guy behind the parkour system was none other than the legendary David Belle himself, the earliest pioneer of parkour. That's why it looks so good
The asthenic in this game is incredible at times. I love that they added a ton of bright colors. I still like the first game way more overall but I gotta admit it was a tad excessive in it's gloom/grit. But I guess it makes sense. First game the outbreak is much more fresh so it fits that it looks more depressing while in DL2 they have had way more time to acclimate and find a semblance of normal and therefore should feel much more optimistic.
I still prefer what was shown at E3... and one of the things that in my opinion took away the aspect of being an apocalypse game was that music in the middle of parkour... where you can only hear the music and few times the zombies screaming... and this parkour fluctuation is strange
I wished the game would include flips and shits, getting to somewhere would be a little slower because of that, but in multiplayer it looks amazing to watch
I'm watching videos to decide what game to buy, and DL2 was an option, and I really want it, but there are more cons than pros for me 😔 but one day I'll buy it just for the parkour
This game looks amazing, I played the first DL and I really enjoyed it but I think the price for this one is too high and I don't have the money sadly, so I'm watching this videos and the game looks so cool.
@@z-chan946 I need a new one because mine is really really old. Assets struggle to load in even in old games, graphics are downgraded, load times are slow, rendering is 4ss, framerate is 💀
@@oceanman6375 sounds like your hard drive is extremely worn out. If its the original model xbox one and you've used it a ton for years then I'm not surprised. You could always plug in an external ssd and run the games from that.
Why do the dynamic parkour soundtracks sound so downscalled to there stock counterparts? Like Joy of parkour is missing a lot instruments in the dynamic version. And Breath of the city dynamic version is missing those whawha sounds from the stock version.
@@spoodermn2133 yup huge patch releasing today (I'm in the UK so it may not be Wednesday for you yet) which includes new game plus, more parkour challenges, 30 new inhibitors, new special infected and tons of bug fixes and I imagine a few extras they haven't told us about.
True people will say there’s something wrong with the game and then they fix it and then they start complaining more like how good does the game have to be
Can someone tell what are those blue things on the floor he jumps off at 3:38 ? Is it some kind of a contraption with a launching mechanism? Because if it's only a trampuline, that's ridiculous..
Honestly uncharted if it's the collection you're talking bout.... cuz that is a masterclass series that you will 100% enjoy. This game is good too but man uncharted......trust me...you will fall in love. Imo 2 is my favorite but 3 ngl is close. 1 is good too. 4 is the greatest send off to a character (: tied with maybe witcher 3 and ac revelations
@@JT_G get dying light 2! Uncharted is fun but it's a one and done game and Uncharted 4 is really boring while the first 3 are good! Dying light offers alot while Uncharted is fun but once you've done it.... You've done it
@@JT_G I finished dying light this morning and now have tonnes of sidequests and skill points to do! While Uncharted you'd just have to replay the game again which wouldn't be very fun
At 1080p 60fps or 4k 30. It is properly clocked at those frame rates and resolutions though, which is nice, even though its very annoying to play at 1080p when it looks so much nicer at 4k.
The parkour is one of the best things of this sequel what are you talking about bruh. They nailed almost everything about the game anyways, I would say they need to make the "slashing zombies" feel a lil bit more like the first one and then it would be fine
@@tugatih5279 Perhaps I will feel more differently when I eventually try this game out myself but something about some of the movements look clunky. I also don't like the grapple animation that much in this one and the dropkick looked sluggish (not sure if that's the case every time you do do the dropkick)
On wikipedia: "Kotaku praised the parkour system, writing that it expanded upon its predecessor in meaningful ways". Confused about this praise as I don't see any improvements really, same stuff, no?
