Dying Light 2 (PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S/One) is an open world parkour zombie game with a lot of things to learn. Here are some tips for jumping in. Subscribe for more: ru-vid.com?su...
Seeing how much Techland supported the first game, Dying Light 2 will be around for a long while. Edit: Yes we get it. "It didn't age well." I was disappointed too. I had high hopes, the night time was garbage and story was less than mediocre.
I don't think it will cause everyone is going to pick it apart not a small community like dying light one was don't get me wrong I love the game I really hope it's around just as long as dying light 2
There is actually a developer charm called “korek” in reference to the korek machete from dying light 1. It gives you unlimited repair. You can find the charm in the developer room in Dying light 2 after sitting at the table in all 4 spots and a note appears for it. There’s also a finger gun in the other room. But this charm has +500 durability repair so added onto a weapon it adds 500 repair to the health of the weapon and you can keep applying it over and over to in turn “repair” the weapon an unlimited amount of times. Enjoy!
The best infected trophy farming that I've found was standing in the entrance to a metro that you have unlocked. Similar to the truck, it choke-points the infected. The only difference is that the metros have UV lights to protect you from getting completely overwhelmed, especially at chase level 3 and 4 when Volatiles come out to play
@@USERTM7 that's because they updated the game to have more volatiles due to the backlash from fans of the original. Volatiles were the whole reason the night was dangerous and scary in DL1, so to have them only appear at level 3 chase or in dark zones, was kinda lame. So now, there are roaming Volatiles that can occasionally join chases if you get too close.
@@kinorris1709 the roaming volatiles seem really oblivious to me. I have ran into them, had a little bit of a shock, then ran again and they are still at white detection
That lock picking upgrade sounds like a godsend. If it’s anything like the first game you’ll have hundreds of lock picks, so “spending” the extra pick to instantly open seems like it’s cutting out an inconvenience, which is all lock picking was in the first game, for the most part.
Oh... those locks were all *just* a chore. Even the hard ones. But those rare 'very hard' ones? Just outright sadistic. You need the twitch-reflexes of a pro gamer to move the right stick and the feather of a hummingbird afflicted with dwarfism to edge the left stick.
@@bn-tc2tk agreed. But dying light 1 didnt have ANY lockpicking upgrades. And those v hard locks were just punishing. Not in a difficulty way. But in a 'please solve 2+2. Show your work in detail, then write a 4 page essay on the method you used to solve it and the importance of math in modern society. Include a full bibliography and list all source material used in a separate document' kind of way.
@@lordsysop you can still loot car trunks, there are cop cars that have lock pick-able trunks, and after playing for a while I'd say the item drops look like kilos of marijuana so still good but they don't spawn in stacks
This comment is funny only because a few zombies disappeared and when I looked closer there was said “cocaine packages” . So yes, they’re still in the game in some way….. strangely. 🤣🤣
I’m loving the game so far, it’s just a bummer you can’t throw your weapons anymore. In the first game I had so much fun throwing machetes into zombies’ faces. I’d throw the machete to stun them for a sec. Then run at them with my katana, do that stepping vault move, 180 in the air and activate the drop attack move. It was soooo satisfying.
I’ve played the game for 12 hours and so far it’s an excellent game. Everybody talks about how bad the story and writing is but honestly is not THAT bad. Its not the last of us levels of writing but I definitely expected worst after watching all the reviews. It’s not amazing but it’s definitely serviceable at least for me. The gameplay is fun. There are some bugs and I’ve even seen some screen tears on PS5 but very rarely. Nothing game breaking. So far I give this game a solid 8
The only thing I absolutely hate so far about the game, is that you can’t really *fully* customize the HUD like they said. For example, when you get chased, you have these red signals in the middle of the screen to show u where the enemies are and it’s so disappointing and annoying that u can’t turn that off. I truly hope that they patch this as soon as possible. But I absolutely love the rest of the game so far. Also hope in a patch for the performance mode cause the resolution is just way too low
It's likely that they're going to fix this, but I would contact Techland to do it anyway. The more people complain about the same issue, the more likely that they're going to fix it. So, please complain.
I find the game more enjoyable if you take your time and actually free roam. It's an open world game, and you'll get just as much, if not more value out of it if you explore the world and do other things besides grind story missions back to back.
I have a friend who thinks I'm slow at games. He doesn't read collectibles or notes to get any backstory or even stop when there is an amazing veiw. He sometimes even skips through some dialogue. The worst is when he denies he does any of this but then asks how you do a certain action that is explained in a past tutorial which he obviously skipped. I honestly don't really know why I still play coop games with him as I've gone as far as playing dying light 2 solo for my 1st playthrough. I can spend so long just going around looking at things and appreciating the graphics. My friend just runs down corridors to get to the next objective which is a massive pain when trying to coop with him as I always end up having to stop what im doing and run miles to go and help him or revive him coz he plays like he's on single player and insists on hardly ever sticking together and actually cooperate with each other.
you missed two big ones that I found very helpful. honestly don't remember if they were mentioned in a tutorial but I stumbled across these actions on my own.. 1. if you're playing with a controller, pressing Y or Triangle will make you spin 180 degrees instantly. you can do this while running. and if you HOLD that button you will keep running forward and look over your shoulder. and using a throwable weapon while looking over the shoulder will throw it behind you while being chased. 2. if you're looking straight down at the ground or an enemy on the ground and you use the "Kick" action, you will do a soccer kick instead of a heel kick. (and a hot tip for the howlers at night would be to shoot them in the head with an arrow from the roofs and then go to collect the trophies after you've cleared the area out.
Having played about 6hours tonight with my friends, I will say this game feels like Dying Light in a very good way! Playing coop with friends was an absolute blast tonight and the most I have laughed/shrieked while playing in a long time. Some silly bugs here and there but nothing game breaking so far. If you are looking for an amazing story, probably not the game for you. But the core zombie killing, parkour free running mechanics feel right at home after about an hour of playing.
for the uncommon infected tip, I find it's always easiest to farm them by going into the nightitme loot caves in the day, then they're all grouped up already
I like going into the back of an enclosed big rig/tractor trailer/18 wheeler (what you call it depends on where you’re from ha). Keeps all the normal infected out and let’s you just chop away at the uncommons. I can easily get to level 4 chase and continue for as long as I want. However, I’m pretty much maxed out with high damage weapons so I can one hit just about everything that comes at me.
Actually there is a way to keep your weapon durability up all the time, there’s a Easter egg that gives you a charm called the Korek charm that gives you +500 durability, you can always take it off and put it back on when ever low
The overpowered drop kick in Dying Light 2 reminds me of a glitch in Dying Light one that had launched infected halfway across the map. I hope someone has experienced that limited glitch, cause it was the best time ever for a moment. It made clipping all zombos of various calibers easier than sliced butter.
At number 8 ( 3:23 ) if you've found the secret dev room, you can also use the korek charm to fully repair your weapon with just one rare infected trophy, don't forget that you can replace charms, unlike mods, so you can keep on repairing your weapon as long as you have some rare infected trophies to apply the korek charm.
I came directly from Dying Light 1 to Dying light 2 so gameplay feel of DL1 was very fresh in my mind when i started playing DL2. Personally DL2 feels like it's missing something that the first one had, i just can't quite put my finger on it. Besides that DL1 felt a lot more fluid and natural to play in DL2 it feels kinda clunky and awkward at times, i hope that will change with patches cause otherwise i think DL2 looks to be a great game
i thought the same exact thing when i started playing. dont get me wrong i really like DL2 it’s a big transition and it certainly has plenty of things the first one didn’t have, but i think what made the first one stand out so much from number Dos was the combat system and the climbing system. the first one, everything felt so fluid and real i suppose, and the parkour was moderately great. in the second one the climbing seems a tiny bit more sluggish and complex visually, and the combat seems too sped up and cartoonish in a way. like the gore doesn’t seem as realistic, the zombies seem a lot more “active” in a negative sort of way and attacking seems to be a LOT more “arcade” like. i don’t mean to bash the second one so much, but i feel that the combat system just seems so unreal now, almost as if you’re playing an RPG
It's weight of the character and momentum. He jumps too high and is too floaty. When you missed a legde IN DL1, It felt scary, like "OH SHIT" When you can't get the ledge. Then you Fall and it messes your whole run. When you fall in this game it feels inconsequential
@@floatinggoose9197 The floaty feel of the game was completely intentional by techland. They also made gravity a lot more closer to real life (at 9.8m/s² I think) whereas DL1 had double that. That may add to the floaty feel. Another thing is that Aiden is a little bit of a superhuman due to human experiments done to him so yeah.
Harran was the perfect environment imo for dying light and the music and sounds were fitting. It's a hard transition to accept between the two game locations
Same here, I’m doing every side quest possible on top of windmill/location discoveries that way I’ve got more safe havens at night. Having safe houses in this game at night is super crucial having the immunity timer against us
@@dougmitchell20 yea the safe houses definatly make it easier at night. Ive managed to get loads of immunity boosters and portable UV lights so the immunity meter has very little impact on me now.
I have been watching gameranx for as long as I can remember. Anytime I see a new video I watch. One thing I really hope to start seeing is VR related videos. Before you buys. Things the game doesn't tell you and just news regarding updates and stuff to that nature amazing work guys
I value your honest and transparant communication. Been following the channel for atleast 4 years now. Happy to say i've learned alot about the game industry. Thanks for just being a nice cool channel without political bs.
I already beat the story on hard difficulty, got it done last night and now am focusing on upgrades and completing side quests and roaming with friends things like that, this game is so amazing. Another tip for everyone GET THE CROSSBOW
tip for the bolters I've found is if you are fast enough they take a while to start running, just run up and dropkick them, even if you barely have anything in the parkour tree apart from the dropkick you still have the speed to run and drop kick them once, that's all it really takes
Love everything about DL2 as a DL1 fan I have been truly enjoying every second of this game on PS5 especially love going in to the forsaken stores and the dark hollow areas at night to get good loot.
Started my play through tonight. Playing this game makes me miss the first one so much. I will say that this game feels mornRPG and open sandbox like. I remember being so story driven in the first game I feel like I didn’t really do anything else. But I am the opposite in this game I’ve explored so much and done side missions in first zone and done only one story mission. Trying to find unique weapons and stuff.
It honestly just feels... Trash, the game is trash in comparison to the first one. So many downgrades to be listed, just a complete disappointment even though I had very low expectations going into the game anyway, as I tend to enjoy games more if it's actually good with that mentality - Which just means this game is trash IMO.
@@gazzy9136 my biggest concern is the lack of zombies. Like the first game was sick seeing the massive hoards of zombies but DL2 seems completely baron. Cool world but in the end DL should be a zombie game
@@gazzy9136 yea that’s a hard in your opinion because it’s better than the first in almost every way. Idk what platform you’re in but on oc maxed out with ray tracing the visuals already destroy the first and every aspect of gameplay from parkour to combat to skill tree is at least twice as good. IMO….
@@MrJman967 whaaat? What platform are you on? There’s literally thousands roaming the streets in this one. Every rooftop I look off of is slam packed full of all different types of zombies and a lot less duplicates too. Are you basing this off videos you watched of sections of the game that didn’t show many zombies? Sounds like you haven’t played it. More zombies roaming than in the first even. I call bs.
so for the uncommon trophy tip. i get mine during the day. if you pop a propane tank and stand on a car. the running zombies will come at you and chase you. if you have the headstomp skill. you can actually headstomp them as they climb up the car.
One way I farmed trophies from virals early game while you're still squishy is keep an eye out during the day for the red flammable canisters. If you find one while adventuring light it and throw it. When it explodes it will make a loud bang attracting 1-4 virals. During the day they are weaker and only having a couple to deal with rather than an endless stream in a chase makes it much easier until your stronger
A typical gas tank or propane tank with a different color you mean... I been using them replaying it on the 5 after only going through not even half way on the 4. I like to run around the whole map checking everything out and search everything it's kinda an issue lol
Another great spot for getting uncommon trophies are the big pile of enemies near tanks and ambulances (these areas are marked on the map too!) You can usually get around 15+ in these areas plus they respawn pretty quick.
My only complain about DL2 is the combat, there's some things I like that was new, but the combat just feels bad compared to DL1 and I'm talking about the ragdoll effect, blood puddles
@@26183 no way! I love the rag doll deaths, that was in DL1 also. IMO, human combat is the biggest improvement in this game where other things are a downgrade. It makes fighting humans more enjoyable than killing infected. For some reason, killing infected feels inferior from the first game already.
2:40 farming these trophies should be done under a bridge in the canal, that is fairly safe just make some noice and they will start dropping down like flies
for repairing items there's a charm that gives +500 durability to the weapon you put it on. That can be repeated, can be use indefinitely and is practically free repair/ infinite durability. also as for gun there's also a secret gun that you can get it's basically the same as the handmade shotty but you have to use 370 scrap but you get 16 shots with it :D
From someone that has watched ALOT of tips videos, let me say, this might be the best one I’ve ever seen, liked, followed, subbed, tinker bell, you got it all
The first Dying Light was incredible, it really hooked me and I found myself doing every side quest I could just for fun and to unlock that really awesome weapon mod. Great day/night change as well, getting caught away from your safe house at night could be terrifying. So looking forward to this sequel despite the bugs etc.
The horror of night is much more intense in the 1st one. There's also a night "timer" that's so aggravating. Overall I'd say 2 is better just because of QOL changes but the first game definitely does some stuff better.
Have you played Dying light 1 on day launch? I doubt you have because it was also full of bugs. This 'incredible game' that you just played, was played after 5+ years of supports, updates and content added. Give it time,my friend. You will say the samething about Dying light 2 in the future.
I love your guys videos I’ve been subbed for going on 6 years and It’s so incredible watching you guys grow as a channel and you all as individuals keep up the great work and thank you for always giving me my gaming news !!
For me wasted potential is: game could have been more realistic and horror game but it went to rpg style which i dont like also there is a lot of details which were better in dying light 1 also its very bad optimised
To be honest I never considered drop kick as op in DL 1. I even thought that it was too weak, fun for sure but against any other enemy than regular zoombie it was almost useless. Human enemies almost always dodged it. Hummer zombie and mutants received no damage. In DL 2 it's finally good move.
5:00 in is the best part of the game with two handed weapons axe, throw crackers, then jump in the middle while zombies are stood there take one big massive swing to wipe out the lot. It’s epic if done right.
Durability on weapons is realistic, I get it. I hope the devs hit a good ballance, But I'm afraid that if everything breaks down too quickly, it kind a ruins excitement of finding the loot to began with🤙😅
Infinite repairs then, imo it should entirely be there more as an option cause there was backlash about it being in the game in the 1st, and if there's more missing based weapons in this. That'll fix it easily and still be player choice
Exactly. That’s the problem for me. It’s not that I can’t keep the same weapon all game but a shovel isn’t gonna break down in 3 minutes. It’s kind of obnoxious
The shooting in the first game was really satisfying. Something about the way it handled made it feel more true to life and not like a game (a'la COD/Quake/etc) I miss that they didn't include firearms in some capacity in the second.
@1Chasg Yeah I think DLC is gonna be HUGE! Now that I remember that's what they said is they wanted to create a game they could always be updating for the players. Right now it feels a little empty in my opinion, it gets kind of boring compared to the first one, but I'm still all in!
I’m just really looking forward to seeing if both dlcs end up being as high quality/content filled as the following. I’ve spent so much time just going back to the amazing original for whatever reason I still have yet to complete the campaign of the following, I believe I was very close though
Thanks for all of this!!! 100% would have never upgraded the lock pick without knowing what it provides. I just though, they're cheap to make and locks aren't hard, not going to waste resources upgrading those but instant opening is pretty slick!
There's a dev charm you can get out of one of the towers in Old Villedor that restores 500 durability to any weapon every time you attach it. Meaning infinite weapon durability by attaching a different charm, using it until it's close to breaking, then reattaching it.
tbh I think the best way would be for them to be rare and randomly dispersed amongst different kinds of areas (maybe make the hard areas have a higher % of having them though) so that it makes going everywhere worth it
Recommend focusing on upgrading only one type of melee weapon upgrade for each part of the weapon - all of them add damage, restore durability, etc. but higher levels of these mods really do make a difference in combat, so focusing on just one type really worth it. Highly recommend fire weapon upgrades since alcohol is very easy to come by and fire can spread providing additional damage with crowd control or electricity - best burst damage and crowd control. NOTE - best use mods with "crit%", not a "charge big attack in number of hits" type (charge type IMHO pretty useless in comparison since by the time you can use that "big attack" you would've easily got yourself several critical attacks that set off elemental effects from "crit%" mods.)
I’m loving the game so far. The only thing I don’t like so far is that we can’t repair our weapons like in DL1. I greatly dislike the new repair system and I honestly feel it needs to be changed. The blueprints repair 50 durability, I get it…..that’s cool, but it also means you’re kind of punished for modding your new powerful weapon the moment you get it. The optimal way to use your weapon would be to use it until it loses 50 durability and then applying a mod, losing 50 more durability and then applying another mod and so forth…why does this suck? Well, lets say you loot a whopper of a cool weapon. It’s way better than your other ones. Obviously, you wish to use it but you want mods on it too. Unfortunately, modding it from the get-go results in the loss of the ability to repair said weapon once its about to break and if its a really cool weapon….it’s a real bummer. My idea - The blueprints should instead *ADD* extra durability to the weapon and maybe even give bonus durability if you’re using it on a weapon that hasn’t lost any durability. That way your 130 durability cleaver can be modded and then have 230 durability, for example. It just makes sense, imo. In fact, that’s how I thought it worked until I realized, last night, it wasn’t. Another thing that I would LOVE would be a way to reset your skills/skill points. There’s so many good skills in the skill trees in this game and it takes me nearly half an hour to decide what to put a point into next, lol. I suffered the same indecisiveness in the first dying light but it is amplified in this one, haha. Oh and a major gripe I have is that when you view the skill tree - some skills that feature their videos will have some damn loud audio and some of the other ones won’t have any audio at all. This is weird and should be fixed. All the skill videos on the skill tree should have sound, imo. Other than the things listed above, I am enjoying this game, playing on Hard mode and really, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY taking my time. I still haven’t finished the first story quest-chain. I’ve just been exploring, scavenging and checking out buildings at night. I will say, this game is not as scary as the first DL. I don’t know where the volatiles are but thankfully I haven’t encountered any at all and do not want to, lol. Also, the blueprint system in this game is just…mmmm…*chefs kiss*. I like that picks can be upgraded, I love that throwing knives are actually useful and I really love how we can put the mod combinations *we* want on any weapon with sockets. tldr - game gud, much enjoyment, few problems. :)
I really like your idea. You should post it on Reddit and their twitter feed. We need Repair to work like it was in DL1--with the ability to repair being linked directly to the rarity level of the weapon.
@@Batboy_915 Thank you but I don’t use social media, I am not a fan of the echo-chambers they tend to breed. I wouldn’t mind it at all though if someone with a large following claimed these ideas as their own and they got implemented into the game. As long as I get to enjoy the end result, that’d be neat.
@@TrueComboKing Hey I have a question since you seem pretty in depth with the game. I’ve been playing the game for a while too and for some reason, I can’t sell all my weapons to the trade people. Why is that? In DL1 you could literally sell anything you didn’t want, but here you can only sell certain weapons to certain traders. I’ve seen other people talk about it but I don’t know if it’s a glitch or it’s a new decision they made. If it’s the latter, I think it’s pretty stupid.
@@talos4702I’m sorry, I wish I could help you but it seems like that’s a glitch. I haven’t had any issue selling any unwanted items (except the DLC preorder bonus machete and axe). You should be able to visit any vendor then switch to the sell tab and then sell anything you’d like. Don’t worry too much though. This isn’t like the first dying light. I hoarded weapons and stuff to sell to the vendor and realize dthey were only selling for like 2 bucks, lol. Honestly, man, if you have any unwanted weapons or armor clogging your inventory then my suggestion is to just drop it (sucks we can’t dismantle anymore, eh?). There are many little glitches, i’ve noticed. One of them being that even though I upgraded my lock-pick so that it can force open medium difficulty locks, I’ve only seen the option to force open a lock one time when it was an “easy” rating lock and then I never saw the option again and another bug is that enemies don’t stick to spikes or barricades when you kick them into them like in the first Dying light, sometimes they just kinda fall. Another bug is that when you kick someone or an infected off a building or ledge or whatever, they don’t fall like in Dying Light 1….They kinda just float there for a millisecond then drop. Kinda like a looney tunes cartoon, lol. I’m going to ask you a question and I don’t mean to insult your intelligence or anything but I’ve made far dumber mistakes - have you checked to make sure that you’re in the “Sell” tab instead of the “buy” tab when you visit a vendor? I’m on PS5 so I have to hit one of the triggers to switch to the “sell” tab.
Yes the whole emphasis is on melee this time round. The whole thing is meant to be guns have now degraded to the point no one uses. There is just so many holes in that aspect of the story it's basically see through. Apparently you can craft the odd ad hoc ranged weapon & bows are still thing obviously. Woo hoo not....
Oh no games that are fun everyone shits on. Thats why they don't make games fun anymore. Cause everything has to be a fucking top tier whimsical novel with simulator mechanics.
Another super easy way to farm the trophies is to go to a safe area that's higher up, and you can find some that have a ledge where you're technically in the safe zone/but also outside of it where Virals can't get you but you're able to pull out a weapon, pull out a bow with exploding arrows, and shoot away. The noise draws Virals and you can continue until you want to stop (or the sun comes out.
Apparently Aiden is part Zombie why your moves seem over powered, why your jumps seem like there floating.. and why you can slam into the ground with a super hero landing... your super super strong.. 👌
You know, it's kind of interesting. We got Zombies like the shamblers during the day, Virals running around, then more mutated zombies like the GRE Anomalies, Goons, everyone's favorite Volatiles, then we got the Night Hunters. Like it starts from a shambling cuccoo head and the virus just progresses into hard core monsters.
@@randomisaac5959 they definitely developed this world nicley... mines super glitched tho.. NPCs with no pigment... floating zombies... and worst of all my R3(objective)Button works when it wants.. .. anyone else?!
If you wanna get a lot of infected trophies go onto the bridge next to Killian’s hideout and just camp on it they can only come from one way on the bridge because of the UV lighting behind you and it’s a really easy way to farm trophies if you start a chase
So the game dropped about 10.5hrs ago, I've been playing for 10 straight and i very much enjoy it. It is a lot of looting. I'll give you that. But that skill tree takes a while to build up. 10+hrs in and i feel like i haven't progressed at all. I just got the drop kick not that long ago. Just focusing on story missions for the time being. I knocked out a couple side quests like the angry guy that's gonna be a father, and i got that singers mink stole back for her.
@@azmanalaydeross4159 Jump off the tower opposite to save some stamina, then try to stand on one of the antennas on the way up to regain stamina before completing the climb
9:46 actually you can just break open doors with the bash ability which saves you lockpicks. Even doors that are locked from the other side can be broken down except doors that are bolted shut
Im not saying im not excited but theres a few points of concern for me; the timed nighttime/indoor looting system (i like to take my time and be super ocd about the choices i make on what to grab), the no weapon repair kits?? (I felt the 3 repairs were great in the first), & no firearms (i get where theyre coming from and dont get me wrong i dont spam them but when coming up against hordes & high tier enemies at the same time they were great although i do find that in the first i ran into an abundance of ammo/guns.
The game looks so good just from footage. It looks like those hyper saturated and sharpened thumbnails that are used for clicks (ahem) but in motion. TLoU2 had this kinda look too. I'm all for it.
The gravity is true to life. There is two jumps, quick tap jump gets you over small distance without gaining altitude, holding the jump button gets you high altitude and far distance
Thanks for the vid Falcon. As i know for sure now that i'l be waiting for this to hit a budget bin. As this is in no way shape or form a full price "get me right away" kind of game.
another easy way I found to get uncommon trophys quickly is the little red propane tanks . When they explode they make a loud noise which draws out 4 sometimes 5 virals to slay n loot . and these little red propane tanks are everywhere
I read a few comments here and I personally think the game can be very much so polished to its core, yes its buggy and yes they have a few missing features from the last game, but remember they can always add features and more. The game is actually fun and offers a fresh new perspective to the future of the last game. Stop comparing Dying Light to the 2nd, its a fresh new take an adds new elements and characters, yes the first game was amazing but it also had its faults. Have a good time gaming people. An a nice year.
I think its fair to compare DL1 to DL2. Some things aren't exactly new elements, but rather the same element but downgraded. The ragdoll effect and blood splatter, for example, were done better in DL1. Also, taking away directional attacks add nothing to the new game. No weapon sticking either. That might be a creative choice, but it does take away from the realism, which I'm sure the game was going for.
@@erictat1346 I agree with the blood splatter and sticking with weapons in the zombies. I certainly have had a few gamebreaking bugs and posted about certain things on the subReddit for Dying Light. I would suggest that stuff on twitter or reddit if I was you. Maybe they can add those features to the game later on
@@MaxeusHonor the subreddit reddit is where I confirmed something was off about the rag doll and blood splatter. I just knew for some reason the combat didnt feel as satisfying as DL1. Also, no X-ray! It was awesome to see which body part you fractured in DL1 and I hope they can/will add it in the future
I have always hated that weapon durability system in dying light. I like that it gives you a reason to keep scavenging but I wish you could dismantle other weapons with similar heads, handles, blades, etc. To repair the weapon you like the most. That way you would still need to scavenge but you'd be able to infinitely use the weapon you're used to
The developer room Easter egg will give you an item to add to weapons to fix their durability. You can remove the item after putting it on the weapon and use it on other weapons over and over. So infinite full durability weapons as long as you apply the item whenever the weapon gets low and then take it off again.
When you look down on your body it looks like he’s hovering above foliage/grass etc. also when you look down at your body standing in water it looks like he’s standing on water. Quite disappointing little details like these were overlooked, hopefully it’s patched
@charles gee I totally agree with you but in this case the og commenter is being nitpicky as his nitpicks don’t add up into something major also can you write my essays lol
We live in a time where games get absolutely scrutinised to the smallest detail. I don't have a problem with it but sometimes the moment you start playing a good game, you don't care or even notice its small imperfections.
