Have you changed the view distance down all the way, or are you on AMD, it might help a little though?

My imac from 2009 could run games at 40 if you turn the graphics all the way down But that was befor the plague hit

james clark I've made everything the lowest I could but it made no difference. I am on AMD, so I'm pretty sure that's where the problem lies

You sure you don't just need a stronger graphics card? I used to run Planetside2 at 1-3fps on the lowest possible settings, now I run it at maximum at a constant 60... maybe 30 in a big fight.

Raymond Liu For all I know it could be the best game ever, but the fact that it's yet another open world, multiplayer, zombie survival game means I just can't care. There are so many of these games and I'm completely sick of the genre. Other than a few gimmicks and a higher production value, I can't see what makes this game better then the hordes of free to play games just like it on steam.

CrispyPixel It's not even survival as in the sense of collecting food and supplies. And multiplayer isn't really the selling point either. So obviously you can't get an informed opinion from a 7 minute Jerma video.

CrispyPixel Multiplayer is optional, it's not a survival game and has a nice little weapon crafting system. It's not Day Z like, it's more like Dead Island, and it's what Dead island should've been, and it's pretty fun with all the Parcour moves you have.

It's not really mediocre. At all. RU-vid just degrades the graphics of everything. And whatever it is you define as "Good graphics" must be way different than the overall definition. Graphics are the lighting, the shadows, the frames, and the textures. All of which this game has in flying colors. And comparing it to DOOM is like comparing a pile of dirt to a fancy car. Comparing two things that are nothing alike does not have accurate results. (I only mention this because DOOM is one of the most graphically advanced games of the year and possibly all time.)

I think it's one of my most played zombie games.
