Because completing this game doesn't mean anything. The main part of the game begins once you have completed all the missions and side missions and reach max level 😅
With how much attention this game gets, you wouldn't immediately guess it's a 2015 game and that there's already a sequel to it... I think almost everyone can agree that this game has aged like fine wine Thank you for keeping a spotlight on this game AussieGG ❤
If you haven't played the forest or green hell check it out. They are wonky but when you get used to the mechanics of the game and how the survival and building works the games are addicting.
A great tip: only dismantle an item if it’s worth under $540. If it’s more than $540, it’s worth more than $48 when selling it, which is how much a metal part(s) and nail(s) sells for on a fire sale. So, if it’s under $540, it’s safe to dismantle.
Btw, In Stuffed turtle, you actually dont need to quit out if you just pick the first 3 packages. you can actually just go throught the exit without any restrictions.
@@AussieGGI like to grapple straight to the switch to turn off the electric floor. Then I grab the package off the register counter, then grab the one off the shelves in the first aisle, then I grapple to the other side of the aisles for third package. To exit, I grapple the ledge which makes you automatically duck under the gap so you can drop down and exit through the door. It takes about a minute to do this, so that's 3 packages per minute. On ps5, so my load times are short, but not as short as pc.
@@infinitedeath1384 Oh, you're on console, so controller + much slower loading times. Now it makes sense. It's less than 25 seconds on PC, and yes, I'm too replaying DL right now.
@@aleksanderkarczewski753 in the floor, by the glass doors you’re facing when you first come in. Once on the other side of the wall getting those two cash registers you can look down around the door area & it’s usually good for $300ish.
It’s such a good spot, I usually just complete the mission for more stuff in the back rooms of the supermarket, I usually find like 5+ gauze and a ton of stuff used to make grenades.
8:15 quick tips that i use on every new game, please note that the ammount of ammo you get from picking the gun up is random, how ever,if you have at least 3 you can use it to head shot all 3 of the rai's man on the airdrop mission, when they are in the safe zone, killing them allow you to search the airdrop box and in the box there is 2 ammunition boxes with grenades and good stuff, but you basicly use 3 bullets to get 32 back(side note : this is clearly enough for the slums or at least for until you reach the level to buy ammos, how ever if you need higher ammo capcity you could either use those 32 bullets to kill people in the harran's prison, allowing you to then have an assault rifle with unlimited ammo farm,IF YOU DON'T HAVE THIS DLC which is understandable, you could still get pistol ammos by either searching in police van because ammo doesn't spawn according to your level you can have them early,or doing the rai's tower glitch if you don't mind doing glitch) 12:35 the best quarter master in the entier game is the guy you find at 12:18 he give you everything, including bugy parts and 15 nomal crossbow bolt + 15 random special crossbow bolt and many more stuff, how ever for those who don't have the following, for really early game i advise you to farm spike, since bed and spike are glued to each other, then once you have good trade skills you can farm the tower, you take everything and then go to the shop next to the bed to sell the weapon at good price allowing you to buy more components.please note that every quarter master HAVE to give you a medic kit, lockpics and a weapon at least(+ some random bonus stuff) thanks for reading,Good night.Good luck. (it would be awesome if this comment could get pinned to allow further information at first sight)
I recently went back to get all the DLC trophies for DL1 and I just cannot believe how it just never ceases to pull me in with it's atmosphere and music and gameplay. I'm so glad to have this game. Thanks for all the tips. And the trophy was for Bozak Horde so I just watched your videos on that. Again thanks AussieGG you're the best DL player imo always.
Another good location for herbs is the first antenna you go to when starting the "Pact with Rais" story quest, it's unmarked on the map but the area with the metal railings and fences will have plenty of herbs.
I haven't learned the duplication glitch yet but with this comprehensive guide, I don't think I plan to, even if it's allowed within the community. Thanks!
for toxic lycin and fluorescshrooms you can enter then pvz easter egg you can grab 5 of each leave and re enter and the stuff will immediately respawn, you can continue to go in and grab them an exit forever!
this guy will always have my heart when it comes to dying light this guy has practically helped me for everything man im so glad he does these type of vids
I love videos like this idk why, i also love watching your casual playthroughs when you point out locations or random tips. Although when going to xbox to plau this game for achievements i did just use the duplication glitch to get powerful faster which is also another really nice thing about dying light, although obviously not intended
Good video. One thing about the looting that i think is bad is that the weapons you can find are very limited by the level or progress we have in our playthrough, the problem is mostly in the end game or higher levels since you only find a couple of diffrent weapons and few of them are apocalyptic looking, they glow or they are just weapons you wouldnt find in a zombie apocalypse.
Great guide! One thing I'd like to add for the Stuffed Turtle 3 DROP farm is to grappling hook to the 1st DROP, then aim your hook just to the right of the electrical panel to land safely on the pallet. Turn off the power, and then you can easily collect the remaining two drops. I also prefer just doing the short run back to the door instead of quitting out; it seems a bit faster for me. Once you practice it several times, it's almost longer for it to load than it is to do the actual run through the DROP gathering! ETA: The reason I turn the power off is because it saves you from having to burn a medkit every few runs from incidental electricity damage if your grappling hooks aren't on point.
I used the Stuffed turtle to quickly farm for lvls to be able to get the grappling hook in that forever day cycle during the first mission, on my 2nd playthrough.
I like to use the spot of beach just down from the "game end" house for really early game algae, I tend to find if I'm lucky that there can be around 10 all in the shallow area, and any biters can be thrown/kicked into the water for easy points.
i would genually like to know the reason as to why you can not grapple on certain locations. you would think the game would have some sort of "check" that stats "player has grapple hook in their invintory, therfore let them grapple across the bridge" but no. you have to jump off and pray you land your grapple in time
P sure in regards to the bridge it's to stop people from cheesing across it, but they only put the invis barrier on the top and sides, not the underneath section of the bridge.
@@AussieGG Both would be great, honestly. The most efficient ways to farm and a quick breakdown of the Legend Levels system would probably be great for newer players
Beat this game years ago, but just got it for the switch because it was cheap and i forgot how good it really was. Easily top 10 games to ever be a game.
For players farming drops, I do recommend to grapple to the power and turn it off and on top of grabbing the 3 drops in the first room, also loot the cash registers. It adds about 5 seconds per run to gain about $200. There are also 2 lockpicks next to the power that you can pick up in like 2 seconds. You need 6577 drops to get to Legend 250 on Nightmare. If you have the Winter Warrior outfit, get it too for 20% XP. Doing this farm will also grant you plenty of agility XP. Once done, spend the money on the first floor of the tower by sleeping twice, buying and selling from the shop, visit the quarter master and repeat. It is slower than other farms, but you can get everything except for herbs, boosters and king mods. Just buy enough for 1 rifle and 1 melee weapon. Make sure you have some UV flares too. Then just do Prison Heist for additional weapons and mods, plus other resources. If you do this, you are set very fast.
the 2nd location in the camp is ideal place for massive loots including strong weapons but without camouflage skill it will be difficult to loot from the vans
Hey Aussie! I’ve just stumbled onto your dying light gameplay! I have a single question for you as an aspiring apex predator; would you ever consider making a night hunter gameplay tutorial? I’ve been watching game after game and trying to follow along with your monstrous stratagems but I’m getting to caught up in all the different actions
Stuffed Turtle gives boost to my level at the very beginning of the campaign it is much better to shut the electricity off and loot the atm and the cashier and don't forget the lock picks
I got 457 Hours on this game And know everyloot spot and everything i need to know So i dont really know why am i watching this but Its still a pretty cool video Its gonna help someone who is new to dying light 😁
Aussie On the Three Moons Restaurant when you are coming back out when finishing the mission, negotiating the shelf stand on the way out you can jump up into another room but can't get out. Have you experienced this. 👍
If only i have found this early 😭 just bought the game on steam because it's on sale (not a remake one). Sorry about my name, I'm just stupid to think for one.
Whats the best weapon you can craft with those bundle bleuprints? Got DL definitive edition this year. No regrets and loving every moment of it but all those bundles and things is a lot to figure out. Lots of fun. Just looking for good weapons that you can craft
The best weapon blueprints from all the DLC are: - Ranger Bow - Corrupted Justice (Hellraid reward) - LED Meta Bow - Volatile Hunter Baton - Torn Whisper - Volkan Combat Assault Rifle
Here's a little fact ik works or atleast for ps you don't have to day reset for shops ik because a weapon didn't spawn in day so I sleped once till night and it spawned
00:30 - or, you could be a sweaty try-hard like me, and just tic-tac up the wall. 01:45 - Same goes for the infamy bridge. :P Anyway, this is the big reason why Dying Light is such a compulsive play for me. The combat is fun. But if I'm not in the mood, just running around, getting into places, and picking up stuff is a fun enough way to cool off. And that the game is still rewarding from just running/climbing around(parkour xp) and picking stuff up(loot, weapons, crafting items).
It's highly dependant on your Survivor level but yeah the bridge is a good spot. It's also empty - no zombies are around at night if you have the Searchlights quest active for it.
It's just so sad that we have community that doesn't wanna share anything that we must loot certain things by ourselves, and no, I'm not talking about crafting matters or medic kits, I'm talking about op weapons that most of us are having, and my opinion is we can't get it by just playing, i think that developers itself are giving that to players, because Noone is that much generous to give to anyone especially to one's that we don't know an op weapon that we earned so hard, so developers, try to keep this game alive and grant us some good op weapons from time to time, this game is maybe old but it's a GG
how can you buy all weapons with the trader ? When I trade with them, I usually have just less than 10 weapons and that's it. I never have all the weapons I can take but just a few
Weapons in the shop are dependent on player level, so you’d get way more variety at max Survivor level than you would at level 1. Not 100% sure if difficulty factors into the shop availability (though I know that you can’t buy gun ammo on Hard)
oh maybe you can confirm or deny something here, Aussie... ive heard from some people that chests you open, vans you open and such, even tool boxes you kick open and medical cabnets. ive heard they refill after 4 or 5 in game days? is this true or do they refill after sleeping twice?
You can buy them from shops as long as you're not playing on Hard difficulty. You have to be a minimum Survivor level for ammo to start spawning in shops though and idk the exact level. Otherwise some missions and quest areas have ammo boxes lying around here and there.
@AussieGG I see, I have checked out the shops but they just seem to sell pistol, rifle and shotgun ammo, maybe the survivor level is too high 🤔 l wanted to make the German/American silencer pistol but it requires 9mm, thanks for replying and helping me out.
@@wondersnevercease3967 Oh if you’re talking about subsonic ammo, you can sometimes find it inside police vans, but it’s very rare. Prison Heist vault room has a bunch of lockers that can have subsonic ammo inside. There’s also a blueprint for the ammo which you can obtain if you track and complete the “Snake In The Grass” bounty from the bounty board.
i disagree about the herbs there is a better spot near the first tower you have to turn on in pact with rais there is wayyyyy more there and if you go like 100 meters away and come back they will respawn
does the quartmaster reset trick increase my chances of finding a gold tier firearm at a store/shop? i have never seen any gold tier weapons outside of dockets and some ppl claim they may sometimes have a gold tier weapon/gun?
Gold tier guns (and melee weapons) never spawn in shops. The highest rarity you can get is orange. The only way to get gold tier weapons outside of Dockets is through Prison Heist (Guru reward vault room), Be The Zombie post-match rewards (but you have to be at least Underdog rank and higher, and even then it's RNG), or from Hard locked chests on Nightmare (this one never happens to me anymore, not for years. I wonder if that's been patched).
Legend levels buff melee weapon damage displayed, so you can get weapons that go that high. Gold Tier weapons can be earned from Bozak Dockets, and most of them are top tier.
@@yassen127 If you want gold tier firearms (including the engraved semi auto shotgun) you have to play Be The Zombie, the PvP mode. You can randomly earn gold weapons there when you rank up to Underdog, including gold guns. But the chances are very small.
