Hey! Thank you so much!!! 🥰🤗 so this color is a semi permanent hair color! I always wash my hair before dying and apply color to dry hair and rinse off! I don’t shampoo or condition in the shower, I just use leave in conditioner and products after I get out! ☺️ hope this helps!
It looks like you used the same amount each of pink and amethyst, is that correct? Also does Joico have permanent intensity or only semi-permanent? SUCH a beautiful color. My haircolor perosn was using amethyst and magenta on me but I think I'd like to try this.
Hi there!! Purple is the color that probably stays in hair the longest! I had purple hair for a few months and it was fully bleached blonde underneath! So it slowly fades back to like a pink/blonde if I stop coloring it!
Hi!! If the color you have now is dye at all you will either have to remove it or bleach it!! Purple is the easiest rainbow color to do because you can lift it just a little bit and it will still show up!! Just be careful and maybe watch some videos before you bleach it!! Hha
hey! so i want to dye my hair with the amethyst purple too however i had an experience in the past of my hair fading out into a blue colour, and i dont want that again since i will probably want to chnage it back to blonde after a while. Does the amethyst purple fade into pink or blue? It just looks so amazing and i really hope it doesn’t fade into blue. thank u :)
i know im watching this video late,lol but this is the second time ive done my hair like this and i have a few questions, so ive never used this brand and i am kinda scared to use it so this did help.Also i have very dark hair witch makes it hard to do stuff like this if i wanted to do anything lighter i would have to bleach my hair and i dont wanna do that, so im trying to ask would this bran be good for darker hairs? and how do you get the colors so bold?
Hey there!!! So it depends how light your hair is to start! It will definitely dye your hair but it has to be at least a little prelightened first! And you want to make sure it's as even as possible in shade so it comes out smooth and bright!
Do you have any advice for someone who has never dyed their hair before and wants to go purple/ a non natural color but is a little scared? I would be going to a salon of course but idk i have this fear of like my hair being super damaged and dry. I have dark brown fine, straight, virgin hair. and i feel like one thing i’ve always had is a healthy hair so it gives me anxiety to think of it dry but i also want to express myself with color lol. I think i’d do a balayage and not my whole head. And then i’m not sure how the upkeep would be. Any advice appreciated 😄
Absolutely!!! Well I’ll tell you what if you’ve never bleached any of your hair before then you’ll probably be fine to do it at least once!! You can ease your way into it and maybe start with just a few highlights!! That’s what I used to do before I did my whole head!! Haha and trust me good hair care products like olaplex are life changing and have saved my hair!!! Haha
What do you like more xmondo or joico?? What kind of shampoo do you use to shampoo to last longer i have a sensitive scalp with lupus so hard to find a good shampoo
Both brands are amazing, joico last longer in the hair depending on the color, but I looove XMONDO because of the ingredients! It makes my hair feel way better, and the color is usually soooo good!! So I guess I’d say I like XMONDO better? And I use their wavetech shampoo and conditioner! ☺️

On the bottle it says to apply it away from the scalp, does that actually matter? I have short hair so there's no way I can keep it away from my scalp haha
Hi!! Were you talking about the dye itself? Semi permanent dye usually stains scalps, I think thats the reason they list that but it shouldn't affect the outcome, may just stain a little bit!
