2:56 This right here is why players run through a wall for him Edwards just fumbled the ball he gave him a hug Next play TD 75 yards pay attention ppl you can see the Love
That's why we take it one game at a time instead of jumping to the end of the season after the first game.... I'm definitely riding with prime time throughout his coaching career....
I love how Coach Prime is the complete opposite of someone like Saban. After the fumble he pulls Edwards over encouraging him to stay aggressive and letting him know it will be ok, instead of scolding and benching him.
Lol must be your first game watching him coach because he's kicked players out of games and off the team for less!! I've loved Prime all my life but true is true he's definitely not any different than those guys and, in some ways, worse. The truth is just the truth
@@azaquaticsco-op1083yup 😂 youth really saved him and the fact that it was one of those weird turnovers. He does it next game and he’s benched especially once Alton is healthy
Also have to remember Dylan played for Coach Prime in youth league football, really atleast a 1/3 of this team played for CP in either youth league, high school, 7-on-7, UA all-star game etc so he has history with most his players
Definitely gonna be special, comes up limp on one play only for a few plays later to catch a TD, then fumbles in a big spot and responds the next quarter by taking a screen 75 yards to the house
I wouldn’t call it a mistake. It was a bit of unfortunate circumstance really to fumble because of hitting your teammates leg. Although a lot of players could benefit from going to the ground with both hands on the ball. He’s their X-factor and he’s stupid fast. Gonna be a fun year.
@@devantepearson Man I’m saying and people think that was it. They still have McCaskill and Smoke that didn’t play which is another playbook in itself. Plus those freshman WR can eat too now that they got a taste of the atmosphere. The defense is better than displayed today and that’ll happen on that side of the ball while building chemistry. Straight Dawgs on this roster. But Unc #9 is my favorite 😂 he just ready to take somebody head off
Please note this young man’s reverence for God acknowledging where his skill and ability come from. His humility is a sign of greatness and better days ahead. Yeah I said it, but how can Prime2 have a better game than Saturday? 😮
In his hs carrer, his numbers are Phenomenal, he rushed 622 times for 6,426 yards, averaging 10.3 yards per rush and 178.5 yards per game with 95 touchdowns and 32 100-yard rushing games out of 36 total games played
Y’all see how he fumbled the ball then coach prime wasn’t all up in his face yelling at him and cutting him down. Coach showed humility and respect for him gave him some words and what’d he do the very next play. 75 yards to the house!!! That’s a coach kids like playing for and that proves it!!!
All I can say is Dylan Edward's is gonna be very special for this team. It's in his blood and DNA, because his father was cold at KState back in the day... Special Kinda Athlete!
This was such a great game to watch live! I watched this instead of my Vols because i wanted to see coach Prime prove everyone wrong. They all said he couldn't do it, that this first game was too much for anyone taking over the situation at Colorado. But i believed, and I've never seen a CU game in my life!
CORNPOP that was me also...plus I not down with how they keep crowding the senior QB with the freshman..give him deserved room scuffy city media...cause if it becomes perceived that ya'll being slick it may cost in recruiting....ijs let #7 have his last romp
@@awesome5545 they both was way bigger and could take more punishment.. running backs is a dime a dozen and not durable but weapons like Tyreke, deebo, or Ty locket, they game changers in todays NFL
If you’ve been following these young men throughout their journey from the beginning this was amazing to witness 😤 Edit: 3:33 that night-night was priceless!!
That’s what I’m saying. If you’ve been watching Buckys videos this game felt personal. Felt like I was watching my little brothers play 😂 haven’t had this much emotion for a game in my 30 years being around football
And too freaking think that Alton McCaskill is just in the tuck right now until he’s healthy 🤣 I can see it now, Alton and Dylan in the backfield in the shotgun.. wth do you do with that? 😂 so many different options with those 2. Also, I hope they’re smart with Dylan going back on campus after a day like this, one bad girl decision can end it all.
Good comparison. That said, I think Moore was a much stronger, physical player than Edwards. He reminds me of a combination of WVU's Noel Devine and Tavon Austin.
@@wesleywatson9398 I'm not a Purdue fan. After watching Moore's first game against Northwestern, I tried to watch every game he played. Now, I won't miss a game when Edwards plays.
What’s craY is everyone that watches well off media knew Dylan edwards was gonna pop a long run. That’s just what he does. You better break down and keep contain or it’s gonna be a house call.
THE ONE THING I LIKE ABOUT DYLAN EDWARDS REALLY COMPARE HIM TO OTHER RUNNING BACKS ESPECIALLY THE SHORTER RUNNING BACK BECAUSE THEY SEEM TO HAVE THEY'RE OWN UNIQUE ABILITIES WE KNOW HE CAN CATCH THE BALL GIVE HIM TIME AND HE CAN CARRIE THAT ROCK BETWEEN THE TACKLES AND INSIDE HE'LL BE SOMETHING SPECIAL I PLAYED RUNNING BACK AT 5'5" AND 180 POUNDS RUN INSIDE AND BETWEEN THE TACKLE BUT WASN'T THAT GREAT AT CATCHING THE BALL THANK GOD BACK WHEN I WAS IN HIGHSCHOOL IN THE 80S THEY DIDNT ASK ME TO CATCH MUCH LOL
Props to this Buffs team. They definitely came out with energy & showed they have talent, but I have a question. How is it 2023 & TCU's D-coordinator & LB core have never in their life seen a HB swing play? 😂 Film room gonna be uncomfy tomorrow or Tuesday morning. Oh well, sucks to suck haha. Just glad college football is back! God be with you all. Roll Tide.
Classic example of a typical fan looking around asking each other what is wrong nothing is wrong you believed the hype that Colorado team ain't supposed to be this good I love it
me kind of being a jerk but comment has nothing to do with d edwards but whatever looks like CU has its share of high school stars playing this game in their back yard including dylan
There is only a few people can teach discipline, technicality and speed plain and simple. They got the right coach Prime Deion Sanders💯. With that 80's no nonsense discipline. Watch out. Real College football is back.
Getting a little ahead of myself but if this dude can become a good a enough receiver out of the backfield, that he can line up at the slot receiver....he's going to be a star in the NFL. Good runner, good receiver out of the backfield but if he adds that slot element.....lights out
Shedeur, Travis and Dylan played well enough for early Heisman consideration. There's many more players on that team that can do the same. The wider receiver and running back rooms are stacked and on any given weekend one (or more) of them can have a breakout game. SkoBuffs!
@@WangLow I said early consideration. Which players do you have that performed better in week one against Power 5 competition?? Gimmie some names, I'll wait.
The studder step he put on buddy for the last td was crazy, just a small studder and blast past the 2nd guy, after he just ran right by the first dude🫣🫣🤣🤣
The greatest athlete in my lifetime who played in a Super Bowls and a World Series, you guys act like he can’t identify talent? Man! Coach have some playmakers. College football world has been put on notice.
8:30 great to see the ref have fun like that... But TCU be thinking he's telling them, "Don't worry boys I want CO to win too. I'll do what I can for ya'll."
