No he’s not. And no knock on kaelin. But he’s leagues behind raiola,. Kaelin will have a chance to start the season his junior year. Not an insult to kaelins talent level, it’s more of an acknowledgment of raiolas. The team has identified and coalesced around raiola as a starter. Neyor and banks are here to catch balls from raiola.

It's going to be great to have QB competition for the first time in a decade. I agree that Danny is also a stud. Hell he won the accuracy portion of the Elite Eleven. What a great young duo. I also expect Haarberg to make a big jump. 2nd team is only one play from being the starter. Again, competition will help them all. And a dedicated QB coach should also help at QB as well as free Sat up to concentrate on Offensive game planning and play calling

I agree. Anything can happen. They are both very young and development happens in spurts at different times in different ways for different people. I'm interested in Danny just because I went to Bellevue west a very long time ago. It's good to see some good football players come out of Bellevue west now. When I was going to school there basketball was our big sport.

Of course raiola is the starter. There’s no chance he won’t be the starter. Raiola one, haarberg two and kaelin redshirts. Banks and neyor are here because of raiola, when receivers visit Nebraska on recruiting trips, they will be visiting with raiola. Raiola is the man.

Raiola most likely starts. I think there is a role for HH at QB in the fall. I think we could see a 2 QB system at least at the beginning of the year.

There's (barring any unfortunate circumstamces) a 99% chance Riola will be day 1 starter. It is great we signed both Riola and Kaelin, but one of them is gonna be gonna after next year. Keep in mind I want both to stay for at least three years, but in today's transfer portal world, I just don't see both staying.
