Thanks for this information because it solidified my decision to start using Centramatics years ago.

With TPMS valves, the direct install is the way to go. This is reasonably done at time of new tire mounting, but if the tire is already mounted one side of the bead can be "broken" and the beads installed. A problem can occur with direct installation; if a bead or few gets between the rim bead seat and tire bead, a slow leak can be the result. Slow leaks are bothersome at best and dangerous regarding blowouts at worse. To avoid this problem, wrap the DynaBeads in a fold of toilet tissue and lay into the tire as a "package". The package will quickly break down into harmless micro-dust and the beads will be free in a well mounted tire. Frankly, I prefer static balance with carefully appleid weights, but if I had to rely on the kid at the dealership to balance my tires, I would use the dynamic beads.

So if you have TPMS you can't have the beads? or they have to be installed into the tire when it is off? Did I miss that?

You didn't show putting the beads in with TPMS. does the tire need to come off the rim to insert the beads into the tire?

U can deflate the tire put them in through the valve stem. Takes a little time but lve done it before.

I can't see how these beads can correct an out of balance tyre. There's way more in the physics of this scenario than the tyre wobbling & the beads somehow finding an equal & opposite position. The problem that I see is the moment of inertia of the beads at varying rotational velocities. Although there may indeed be a certain rotational velocity whereby the mass of the beads can overcome the centrifugal forces working on the bead mass, I believe that the centrifugal force will be so much greater than the moment of inertia of the tiny beads, effectively locking the beads into any position on the inside of the tyre at the time the centrifugal force exceeds the moment of inertia of the beads which, will be the majority of the time. Since any circumforaneous movement relative to centrifugal force is a product of the moment of the bead mass + or - the velocity differential in rotational velocity - friction. On top of these factors, the change of shape of the tyre as the circumference rolls along the ground would be a major force in the bead moment of inertia as this would effect the position of each bead relative to other beads around it. At the moment &, without scientific testing & verification, I cannot see how this system could work as advertised.

Can you use them with tire tubes?

Sorry; Off topic again. Have you shot a video on heli bar installation on the 2018+ GoldWing? The written instructions that came with the parts make it look simple, but the video that the owner of the company shot makes it look much more complicated. It shows disassembly of the left handlebar controls and removal of the handgrip, etc.. There is no mention of any of that in the printed instructions. I’m about to dive in.

Been using the beads for years. One thing I would add is, make sure to tell tire shop that you have beads before they remove a old tire.

Here are some facts related to dyan beads. After being on various MC sights for years I have yet to see anyone actually test these snake oil products. Typically the owner dumps in the sand then proclaims it works because there is no shake. I have yet to read where a slightly out of balance tire was balanced by adding anything but weights. And yes I did some tests on this to see if they work or not. First In general if you don't balance a motorcycle tire there is a 99% chance you will not feel any shake as 99% of MC tires are close enough to balance to not really require any weights or balancing. Fact is I have not balance a tire on any of my hundred or so motorcycles and only twice did I experience any shake. So what is happening is a tire that is good and true is filled with sand then the owner simply says the stuff works and the lemmings will just blandly follow. So here is the real world test results. First find a tire that is truly out of balance enough to exhibit a noticeable shake This is hard to do and in general not a possible achievement so I did a car tire instead which had a slight shake at around 40mph which is typically where it is most noticeable. So in went the recommended volume of dyna bead and a test run. After several start and stops I found not only did the stuff not work but at times was worse, Adding weights was an immediate fix. This was one of several test and in general the beads only balance tires that are balanced. If you really want to balance use the one thing that really works - weights. Or just don't balance unless the wheel shakes it's just common sense, don't waste your time and money on snake oil nonsense. The physics and theory behind this stuff does not even make sense. Just for fun "think" where are the beads going to go? Are they magically going to find the light spot and go there? How do beads know where the thick part of the tire is especially if its on the sidewall or bead area? And of course there is the magic red dot on tires that tells you where to put the valve stem are bead looking at the dot? I think science and physics work snake oil not so much. But do the test yourself, if you can find an out of balance MC tire that is. Good luck

I can't believe you actually showed put the beads in a tire before mounting it. Duh. I at least had one side mounted on the rim and then prying the other side on. I think the beads got stuck on the bead of the rim and I had air leaks for the 10,000 miles 3 years I had the tires on. There is nothing to keep the beads from flying out or getting stuck on the bead of the tire or rim. You don't explain how much beads for what size tires. Most important One size package does not fit all.
