I think this is why I’m looking for, thanks for uploading. A point of criticism to improve is maybe edit out your mistakes. Some parts got so hard to follow because I’d be deleting or changing things so often I’d forget what I was trying to reference.
Thank you so much for this tutorial. I would like to know how can I change my layers to another song set when I change levels? I have the musiclayer component on my Player Controller and would like to have different music for different levels.
What a wonderful and helpful tutorial! Does anyone know how I can have the music layers start playing from 00:00 (the top of the song) when entering the first collision box (as opposed to on Begin Play)? Thank you.
You reckon you'll do a tutorial based off of the pawn sensing component? I.e if enemies seen you, play battle music, when all enemies that have sensed you die, back to idle music?
Conversely you could do battle music with this system in this video too - provided you had a musical layer with some drums or other battle sounding music
@@esotericgamedev Cool idea, would love to pull off how CE1 did the layering system (Think it had prefabs for music with each drum/cymbal etc being timed using bundles via xml? been a long time).
