This is a super helpful video for acoustic players of any capacity and for any setting. Dynamics can make or break a song. We cover some great tips on how to make sure you are using dynamics properly.
My man your dedication and content is just amazing. You’re doing a killer ministry for Jesus by equipping the musicians. God bless you man. I’ve been personally blessed by your lead lessons and have used them in my church. Super cool bro!! Keep it up. The best is yet to come. 🙌🏽🙌🏽. God bless you n your whole team.
I've always felt like I had good dynamics with my acoustic guitar playing but I was able to pick up some things from this video. It's also timely as I will be the only instrumentalist during an acoustic set on the Sunday live-stream. Thanks for all you do!
The point about emphasizing what the drummer is doing was one of the first things I naturally picked up on as a former, not-that-good drummer. Thanks for sharing some great tips!
Of course! If the band isnt in sync, it doesnt really matter how good each player is. We are gonna be doing more videos like this to help with awareness and placement in a band!
Brown Patterson thanks man! It’s a custom-built, Silvan Guitar. The owner/luthier is a great friend of mine here in town. He is incredible at what he does. Want his contact ?
Not to be rude or anything, but how is this content not common sense to musicians or guitar players. So weird that dynamics are being learned through RU-vid.
Victor Santiago have you ever taught? When you begin to teach, you realize quickly how uncommon common sense stuff is. I teach and develop for a living. Dynamics are very uncommon. Haha
