@@pirotess2 Liu Biao is good, but he lacks ambition. Probably because he's an old man by the time the Three Kingdoms began. Other than that, he got a rich province, with decent men able to govern it, and a stable place that attracts refugees from the war up north.

Wu couldn't unite the land because Sun Quan never did anything heroic, and most of his sons were idiots

@@Burnout-db7ji Sun Quan was more of a leader type rather than a frontline warrior. He let others do the dirty work for him.

Harima Kenji I'd say the ratio of pretty boys is about 1:6, that is, not much. As for guns, I'm pretty sure the only character that uses one is Guo Huai. You could argue that Dong Zhuo uses bombs, but so did Huang Gai before DW6.

+shadowxmaria A lot of what you said is incorrect. Jin succeeded Wei almost forty years after Cao Pi's death, and Shu were conquered by Wei, not by Jin. I'm not quite sure what you meant by the Sun family being servants of the emperor, but if you meant that the final emperors of Wu were not members of the Sun family, then that is also wrong. Also, the civil war nown as the War of the Eight Princes was between the princes of Western Jin, not Eastern Jin, and the nomadic tribes weren't heavily involved in that war either. And the Southern and Northern Dynasties period began in 420, over a century after Western Jin fell. Saying that that period began as a direct result of the Three Kingdoms falling apart is like saying Wu surrendered to Jin in 280 as a direct result of Zhang Jue's Yellow Turban Rebellion. In fact, it's worse, since there's a larger time difference and just as little relevance. And I don't think many of these leaders could be classified as the greatest leaders recorded in history, although I suppose you could make an argument for several.

Jin dynasty is worse than han dynasty and Three kingdoms. all the princes bearing power, land and army.

Sure, the war of the eight princes are known for the turbulence within the Sima family, but in reality, this was not much different from the events surrounding the fall of the Yuan family or the fall of Wu. In fact, one could argue that the fall of the Sun family was even bloodier. The war of the eight princes was only a decade or so long, and in truth, the majority of that decade was entirely peaceful. Several of the eight princes weren't aiming to usurp power (Sima Liang, Sima Ai, arguably Sima Wei) but rather to ensure that the rightful emperor received the throne. I'd go as far as to say that the real tragedy only started after the "war" - really a series of coups and indecisive skirmishes - had already ended. In terms of bloodshed, number of civilians killed, number of military officers and troops killed, number of cities destroyed, number of assassinations, etc, the Han Dynasty/3K period far outweighs Jin in severity. Hell, even if you counted the individual death/destruction toll of just one of the three kingdoms alone (with only the inclusion of interior civil damage, ie excluding actions done by Wu or Shu to Wei, but only including damage done within Wei to Wei) then each of the three kingdoms individually outweighs Jin in devastation. The Western Jin Dynasty was actually one of the most peaceful, prosperous times for most of the Chinese population.

As far as I know, the scenes where they live are the hypothetical route I think

You calling establishing Wu as one of the main 3 contenders in the 3 kingdoms, taking Jing province from Shu, beat back the largest army/navy at the time at Chibi, and extending Wu's control as far as north Vietnam as weak?
