Somebody once said: Kids look under their beds for the Boogyman. The Boogyman looks under his bed for Chuck Norris. Chuck Norris looks under his bed for Lu Bu. And Lu Bu looks under his bed for decent opponents.
Bruce Lee is Chuck Norris's Rival. Lu Bu is like a god to them. Lu Bu is actually a god from combat, where he slays armies every day. They are like students to the mighty Lu Bu!
I'm gonna shit myself if this video hits 100K views. Once again, thanks for all the watches, everyone! Dynasty Warriors 2 just turned 15 years old in Japan. HAPPY 15TH ANNVERSARY, SHIN SANGOKUMUSOU! :D
@Sir Jay terrifying if you charged in with the other soldiers on your first time playing, thinking "oh, we just rammed down the door, nothing can stop us now!!!"
Am i the only one that feels like they have made Lu Bu weaker in recent games? He doesn't feel as terrifying anymore. I want the phrase "Do not pursue Lu Bu" to mean something again!
Maybe this can help u, play dw8xl, go to the hu lao gate, make lu bu appeared, don't kill him but kill diao chan first, next is u get what u wanted, hope this will help u
i tend to find the main riff for lu bu works the best in DW4, the little added part work so good.. really gives you a feel of "ok.. this guy's a badass"
@@Alolan.Vulpix.Getting.Railed I mean... Lu Bu may be the flying general and intimidating and stuff, but Guan Yu has a friggen religion behind him irl. If people worship him irl, then I don't see why not, make him crazy too.
@@morganfitch8325 I doubt it, Guan Yu got his reputation due to being both a great warrior and an amazing commander, Lu Bu was a peerless warrior but lacked in terms of military command
LU BU for SMASH as the DLC fighter for fighter pass 2 to represent the Hack and Slash genre it not oh well. i imagine a reveal trailer were the fighters were knocked back to the ground off screen by an unknown force. They struggled to get up and sees a figure walking toward them then this song plays and the figure revealed to be Lu Bu walking toward the fighters ready to fight them and saying "You dare face the mighty Lu Bu?"
khai do actually, Lu Bu was the good guy in real life. He was not a dumb monster, in fact he was smart and a great strategist. But Liu Bei betrayed Lu Bu and Lu Bu started calling Liu Bei names. That's why Liu Bei looked like the good guy and Lu Bu was the bad guy
Miles Joshua Serate There was a little more too it than that. Lu Bu was also prone to flattery, and was tricked into betraying Liu Bei by insurgents planted by Cao Cao, who abused his weakness to flattery immensely. Lu Bu's biggest downfall was not listening to Chen Gong more.
That DW 3 Xtreme legends mix.... my god. What a powerful one. Everything about it is beautiful, very combat-sounding. Like the beat of him stomping the ground running after you is very present in this one!
Lu Bu's DW8 theme is the most intimidating/badass, plus that bits of traditional Chinese instrument in the beginning. Imagine if we can time travel and play this song over the battles in which Lubu are in, the opponent's army would be scared to death.
In my opinion dynasty Warriors 6 and 7 themes are good but dynasty Warriors 8 sounds generic if you listen to all of the other music you can see why imo
Unfortunately this lead me to giving dynasty warriors 9 empires a go and it broke my heart that I was bored playing a dw game. On the other hand it made me play 8 again.
Man! DW7's Lu Bu is like a culmination of years of building on the intensity of the theme to just make it the perfect mix of epicness! The multiple instrumental solos, the chilldown moment that's a throwback to DW3, the endless guitar screaming, it's just perfect!
+Brokenspirit221 Maybe if you're into high note rock n roll music then you would enjoy his music after the original Dynasty Warriors but his first theme is truly the best.
Remember when Xia Pi Lu Bu had the same stats as his Hu Lao gate appearance? Sure, it made it more difficult, but I liked how it made sure you didn't forget who you were dealing with. To actually take him down after facing him (and most likely losing/running) at Hu Lao gate makes you feel absolutely unstoppable.
I fixed the video so it says (1997-2015) now. Dynasty Warriors 9 could still be out in Japan by the end of the year, but that doesn't matter. I based this video off of the American release dates. Hope you're all still enjoying! Subscribing would sure mean a lot!
Personally DW4 Fire Mix and the Orochi Lu Bu theme are my favorites. 4 because I genuinely believe it's the best one and Orochi is close behind because they basically took the 4 theme and did the techno mix bit to it that they did with the Orochi soundtracks.
Dw4 is hands down the best!!! What a game 4 was!!! I started with 2 in 2000 but for me 4 was the absolute peak!!! 5 was amazing aswell but I didn't like the weapon weight mechanic in it but was amazing
Oh boi... I remember when i was fleeing for my life and yuan shao went to lu bu only to get one shotted and loose the battle.... I rofled so damn hard and since then Lu Bu is my worst nightmare when i am against him .... However on my hands they TREMBLE BEFORE THE MIGHT OF LU BU !
Gotta admit, the DW2/3 theme actually really works for the idea of being pursued by a raging badass out to kick your ass, compared to the other themes making it feel like you're getting an epic battle for your suicidal efforts. And the DW Advance version is surprisingly good for a handheld that had an 8-bit sound output if you weren't using samples to bypass its limitations.
Cant believe i was such a tool for buying dynasty warriors 2-6 including all the EXTREME LEGENDS aka expansion packs along with the empire and ROTTK...what a tool but great times...
You know, listening to Strikeforce and Warrior's Orochi, I can't really describe the style of music they went with it, it sounds sorta dubsteppy and electric? Idk, it sounds really good. I do find it pretty cool that for Strikeforce, they used the Dynasty Warrior's 6 Lu Bu Theme over whatever is playing in the beginning, and Warrior's Orochi still has the feel as Lu Bu Theme from the older titles
8 Empires, I never go near Lu Bu, especially during the Hu Lao Gate event battle, unless I am confident that I can beat him without dying... ...and that I can afford to die once, as well, just in case.
Damn! Dude! This is so cool! Now when DW8 come to steam this is nice chance to refresh memory about this pain in the... well... as PC player 4 part of this great game! Thanks!
Me when i play Hu Lao Gate stage: *The gate has opened!* Me: "Yeahhhh, now it's time to kill that Dong Zhuo- *Suddenly this song play* Also me: Me: "Why do i hear boss music???"
@@musicretronanda132 and my reaction be like: *lets the joystick on the floor and realized i've been killed lots of times just becuz focused on his damn horse*
Yeah pretty much! Haha I agree with DW4, he was still quite hard as a higher level, but I mean when you get a higher level character better weapons, eventually he becomes proper easy to beat. In the older ones, he still posed a threat, seeing that Lu Bu name tag filled me with fear! xD
Thanks for this video. It's pretty amazing. But you did forget one version: The Dynasty Warriors Mahjong version of his theme. That game never did make it out of the states, but it's a calm more collective version of the song and it's amazing. I'm currently on a trek to find it. Wish me luck.
