I would check the main bearing and see if it has play. Also, I had one of those aluminum tensioners that had a dead spot. I only use the big steel tensioners

I think the oil at the beginning caused the belt to jump.

I have the exact same thing with the gates racing belt. My tensioner is doing nothing. I think it’s the belt maybe a normal belt should be used. I have not ran the engine since the belt was out on

I have a question. I have a lexus sc300 with 2jzgte vvti swap 5 speed manual. I'm have fuel drop issue when I hit boost. I'm running a walbro 525 fuel pump an 8an feed 6an return on a aem infinity 506

i think theirs too much load on the timing gear to drive that pump
