Brilliant video mate, when you get a minute have a look at my mk3 7mgte drag car, we're nearly ready to race.

I have to agree, the 7mgte has a distinct sound, I have about 8000 km on a forged rebuild of mine, the 7m was always going to stay in it, 7m all the way, it's such a sweet motor, torquey and buttery smooth.

A 7m won best in sound contest at a Supra's in Vegas meet. I remember when I was running full 3in straight pipe in my 7m mkiii it was the best sounding vehicle in my town 10 years ago. Now I'm 2jzge+t with 3inch with secondary muffler. I want the car to be quite because I'm getting old.

The 7m gets a bad rap but it's really only the head gaskets, it's a Toyota after all. I had a cat back and cat delete on mine and it sounded amazing

Just so you know, #6 belongs to Sergio. The car made 1050 RWHP before cracking the block along the water jackets. There’s actually quite a few vids of it racing. Unfortunately it’s no longer 7M powered, it’s now LS swapped.
