Received my PV4 from Fuel Moto yesterday. Flashed the bike (Stage 1 with headers) this morning with the map provided by FM. I took the bike out and it's such a noticeable improvement compared to the V&H FP3 map (auto tuned) I was running. With the FP3, I could never get smooth throttle/power when trying to get up to speed...even after calls and emails with V&H, messing with AFR, throttle progressivity, etc. I was missing what the FM map gave me and couldn't be happier. I also told FM that I'll be going to Stage 2 (Woods cam) in a couple of months and they sent me a Stage 2 map to my PV account as well. For the price I paid for the PV4 from FM, just having the maps from them was well worth the price. Once the PV4 gets auto tune, fuel and temp readings to cell phone, etc. it'll all be extra because I'm good with just the maps.
Agree the support is good / FM pushed me a tune for my stage 1 and it runs well. The promised features seem to be delayed - auto tune , wide band integration- how did you make out with the cam? Did the FM tune work well?
Looking into getting this i’m currently running on the fp4 stage 1 but i really see no difference in performance. Did you have any problems using a different tuner even though your fp3 was already married to your ecu bike?
Are you able, or is an update coming that will allow you to tune/live/auto tune the bike like with the touch screen powervision? Or is this just meant to download and upload tunes that are sent to or downloaded in the device?
Currently the PV4 is primarily a tune delivery device and you also also datalog & retrieve/clear engine codes, and you have the ability to custom tune with the Dynojet C3 software. There is assortment of new features that are already in development & testing that we expect to start releasing later this year.
The Republic of Korea is asking. This is the 2022 road slide special. I'm riding 10,000 kilometers. I ask you. Only s&s 475c cam, bearing, and pushrod will be installed.Use the oil pump and plate as it is. The intake air is a genuine flow. The muffler is s&smk45. If I buy dynojet pv4, is there a setting in it? And how bad is the fuel economy? How much louder does the muffler sound get?
Yes, however RDRS bikes have torque based throttle control meaning the ECM follows the torque model and multiple inputs above the throttle blade tables
Considering this tuner for my new Low Rider St. Currently at stage one with future plans for cam upgrade. Will this tuner be the best option for these upgrades? Take care.
