Hey I just returned my airwrap because I was getting frustrated with it. I guess you nailed it with this review and that if you want to perfect the look go for corrale plus you get to travel with it and it doesn’t your hair as much. I really had high expectations because I was already quite experienced when it comes to hair tools but knowing that the airwrap didn’t work for me was frustrating with all the hype around it.

I tried this by buying it from QVC so plenty of time to use it. I have fine hair and I mostly wanted it to 'curl' my hair as I had seen many videos showing people using it for exactly that. If your hair like mine ie straight and FINE, it does not work well. I managed to get curls on one side, less so on the other side and then they all just dropped out. I did have mousse in my hair. I have the Dyson Air wrap which has saved my hair during lockdown, I wanted the Dyson Corrale because it works overseas and the other Dyson products do not. But it really is no good for fine hair unless I suppose you want poker straight hair, in which case it might work well. However it was no better than other straighteners I have, one of which I noticed had flexing plates so Dyson is not the only make to have this. It's VERY expensive and really it's probably only suitable for thick hair. If you want to try it, get it from QVC as then at least you can really try and use it over several weeks and find out if you want to keep it or not.

What a wonderfully detailed review, and well timed too. I have curly hair and I like to switch between straight hair and curly, so I style my hair often. I've been on the lookout for a good straightener for a while....I was thinking of getting a GHD one...so this is quite a hefty investment but I can see that it would save me so much time in the long run. Plus the fact that the hair strands don't get spread out as you straighten is such a winner for me! I might actually have to start saving up for this. Dyson seems to have put so much thought into this, it's very impressive 💗💗✨

I have the airwrap and me and my family use it a lot! Now i want the corrale as i cut my hair short and i love it straight! And it’s more convenient if im in a hurry! Waiting for the store to get it restocked

I was waiting to get corrale,But my friend strongly recommend airwrap.. which her hair is shorter than mine!!! but i have a supersonic and i always using curling iron . So i thought i do not need..but just got airwrap yesterday for my birthday. I just tried...and after shower,, i sweated whole body again,, took so long time.. And curl doesn’t stay longer. As soon as finished whole hair just straight again !!!!! So i am kinda disappointing now so thinking to exchange corrale, i just need less damage curling tool!!!!

Hi there thanks for such an information video! Haha I watched it a couple of times and was sold on getting a corrale myself. You made it look so effortless hahaha I’ve always used a curling iron... so when I tried to curl my hair with the corrale straightener, it just didn’t work and I kinda panicked maybe I bought it on impulse.. haha I just wanted to ask, does it get better with practise? Do you have some tips on how to style / curl ? Appreciate it !
