Daniels is really interesting. New Orleans would be great, pairing him up with Jose Alvarado and having the legend Fred Vinison work on his shooting should be fun.

Kings gonna shock everybody by taking Dyson at 4!

He damn near plays exactly like Derrick White. When Derrick white is playing confident and in rhythm he’s a top 4 guy on a team and i can see the same outcome with Daniels. He doesn’t need to be a star on his team, but be a star in his role. Versatile high impact players like him are more valuable than the league makes it seem.

Had my eyes on him since I saw him at the all star weekend games and he showed out on Rick Barry's team. Barry's seemed to really like the kid as well in their limited time

He has an intense stare lock down when defending. Seems ultra focused.

The best skill to me is defiently his defense, arguably the best defender in the class

Lowkey think Daniels would be a sick fit with either Indiana or Detroit. Dallas showed how important having a second ball handler was this year and I think getting him with Cade or Tyrese could really elevate those guys ceilings

About time!

I think the obvious comparison is Lonzo. Similar size, great perimeter defenders, high level playmakers, both had questions about their shooting from deep and at the FT line. Dyson's floater is already at such a high level. The shooting will obviously be a skill that will determine how far he can actually go. You know you're getting a player ready to go from day one. I think his best role is a secondary ball-handler next to a ball dominant star. Someone that can take the pressure off of a #1 option and take over as the primary for stretches. Two fits I like are Detroit next to Cade and Portland next to Dame. I think anywhere in the 5-12 range is reasonable, and he will likely be selected on the earlier end of that range.

Would love to see this guy on the Pacer's with Tyrese. That duo could be one of the best passing/scoring duo in the leauge

The Spurs love them some Aussies......I like Daniels as a prospect, mainly cause I love defense and sharing the rock. Plus, he is a poor FT shooter, which fits in nicely with the Pop Spurs.

He is a SCOTTIE PIPPEN type player

I don’t see how he’s more naturally talented than Jaden Hardy. He’d probably make a good role player, but Hardy is way more prolific at the difficult stuff in basketball which is why he had the ball in his hands more than Dyson this season.

Im not even a pistons fan but I want him to go there so badly. Cade and Dyson complment each other so well its not even funny. Would make them a play in team over night.

I like his passing, his length for a guard, and his defense…but man some of those attempts to dribble by his man are really ugly. Not sure that’s even fixable because he doesn’t have that suddenness off the dribble.

Imo he’s very very similar to lonzo. long rangy guard who looks to play make and is excellent defensively but lacks shot creation and will struggle shooting early in his career which will limit his overall half court offense and ability to be a lead ball handler

As an Australian hoops nerd, I'm a fan of Dyson more so than any one NBA team. Because of that, I hope he gets drafted 8th, 9th, 12th, or 13th. Here's why: 6th to the Pacers he's playing for Rick Carlisle who doesn't play rookies. 7th to the Blazers he's stuck behind Dame and Simons. I really like the fit for him on the Pels at 8th. The Spurs picking 9th is my favourite landing spot for him, as I think his best NBA comparison is actually Dejounte Murray. Who better to model his game after and learn from than Dejounte himself! 10th is the Wizards, which is a mess of an organisation. 11th is the Knicks, who are even more of a mess than the Wizards. 12th to OKC would be a dream come true for me with Aussies Giddey and Daniels on the same team. 13th to the Hornets would be great too, as I think he'd fit RIDICULOUSLY well with LaMelo and Rozier. I hope he lands in one of those organisations that will be a good fit for his development, and he'll be a good fit with their current rosters. Fingers crossed for the young fella. He's going to be VERY good. Maybe not straight away like Giddey was, but the fans of whichever team lands him will fall in love with his defense, maturity, and intelligence. Dyson's offense will catch up quicker than people think too. 💪💪

his passing doesn't seem really special to me, alot of these passes he can make because he's taller than everyone on the floor

This guy would be the perfect PG for the Rockets imo. I think they should trade up from 17 to get him. He could probably start at SF for them for now until they inevitably give up on KPJ. A core of Daniels, Green, whoever they draft at 3 and Victor W would be a legit contender.

Can’t stand wings/guards tha can’t attack the basket and score. 1v1 scoring is a huge red flag. Hope nobody reaches for him. His release on threes is really slow but can improve.
