I have a DC 25 yellow Vacuum and the beater bar wasn't turning. I watched another guy's video of what to check he said there were three things he normally checked. I found a broken hot (Red) wire under the left side of the ball. I spliced the hot wire, and it runs fine now.
Thank you for your video on this vaccum. My neighbor gave me her old one. I replaced the brush roller switch and it works. The problem I'm having is when I place the vaccum on the carpet the brush roller stops! Do you or Anyone else on here knows what I need to do to make the brushroll continue to spin? Thank you for your help!
It could be that the belt is bad or is slipping, or parts of the brush that turn it are broken?? Maybe the soleplate? I ended up giving the vacuum away so I don’t have it for reference.
Thanks for your well thought out and descriptive video. I just had one of these "donated" to me and I plan to follow in your footsteps and see if I can make it work.
