I remember the drawing being advertised it looked absolutely stunning for it's time 😊 Glad you got the Bissell out to clean those marks, Molly and Daisy would have been having an extended family Mark I imagine would have been having kittens had he of seen it, your carpet does make some lovely lines when you go over it with vacuum cleaners that can manage it, that is undeniable.
I don't really remember this type because I'm not the biggest Dyson fan. However, I've just been given a DC27 that 'wasn't sucking anything up' according to the owner. It was absolutely RANK!!! All the tubes were clogged with various types of debris, the brush roller was more hair than roller and the filter was totally full of a certain brand of carpet freshening powder. I say don’t spend a penny on it Rog. Funnily enough we’ve just bought another small ball Dyson directly from them today for my mother in law. You just can’t have too many vacuums I’m sure you’ll agree :)
I found a Dyson DC 24 Blueprint in the swap meet in Las Vegas for only $20 and it still works. The only thing is that its missing most of its tools and has a fake pre motor filter. I am still working on cleaning it out.
The yellow and Blueprint were my favorite DC25 colors. I have a red one but I’ve converted it to a yellow one. Mine was in better condition than yours someone really didn’t care about that one which is a shame. I normally hate bagless cleaners but I like my DC25.
Neat machine, not a big Dyson fan here, yet understand rare or limited models as a collector. Sorry you don't the new carpet could be worse you could have done the entire house with it.
I will also be washing my carpet before the Xmas tree goes up but Believe it or not I seen people have Already put their trees it’s not even Halloween till the weekend
Those hoses a terrible the old vac air I had, had one. If something gets stuck on the nozzle the hose retracts violently under the suction and tips the vacuum over. Also the roller skate mechanism at back is junk.
I would say clean it, replace filters with aftermarket filters if your not looking to spend too much and leave the motor as is but for sure take out the motor and check the carbon brushes. If they are running low replace the carbon brushes and you will save a lot on a new motor

I personally wouldnt buy a Dyson because they break easily and the customer service is a joke In terms of ebay I wouldnt touch it with a barge pole you do not kno what your getting the items are either broken or misplaced or lied about the condition
