I recently bought the Dyson hair dryer and it does have a cool air setting without having to continually press the cool shot button. There are three lights that indicate low heat to medium heat to high heat then back down to low heat as you press the temperature button. After going down to low heat press the temperature button again and all the red lights will disappear and only cool air will come out.
The Dyson people say that the professional has a longer chord and is meant for repeated use throughout the the day. The consumer one is not. I have friends that work for Glamsquad who use it , the consumer version, and say that it's not as strong when they first started using it.
I love how you mention the manual throw it to the side and go on to say 'I'm not sure what this is for 😂 same! I'm not being critical I actually watched from beginning to end I love how us cosmetologist are like DON'T TRLL ME WHAT TO DO! 😂
Philip Hello I'm a Big fan of yours and I follow your work. Could you tell me what are your main values in life? Which values are the most significant, even the least significant but still important?
@@elizabethr9304 takes longer to do blow dries, doesn’t really get nice and hot for drying curly hair straight, can’t physically push out more air than say a GHD or Parlux, just wasn’t worth the money in my opinion. I’d rather buy 3x parlux than 1 dyson.
Hi Philip, how would you compare this to the Hair Beauron? I know usually people say avoid heat if you want to grow your hair, but Bioprogramming's recent videos of Hair Beauron have me wanting to invest in one for both style and healthy hair. Thoughts?
Is the blowdryer still working strong . Has the two to three second delay got worse or better and has it caused any other problems with the blow dryer. How long have you had the blow dryer? Thank you so much
I noticed that delay thing on other powerful tools. Even babyliss fx trimmer does it, sometimes the fx clipper too. Then i have this and it does too. I guess its a good thing? Idk.
Sadly to say for me, I had two of these and they both failed on me. My first pro intermittently cut out during my blow dries, the replacement did exactly the same. I did what I should and cleaned the filter once a week so that wasn’t a excuse. Dyson then informed me it’s is no longer producing the Professional edition for the UK and maybe other territories until after the New Year. They replaced my second with a consumer edition and told me to keep the pro attachment. I find it all very bizarre. Hope your experience is better.
I contacted Dyson and the one two second delay is normal. I have the professional version also and mine does this delay. I think it has something to do with the safety box on the cord of the dryer.
Hi!! I'm a Dyson Stylist so I know this baby in and out. The couple second delay is OUR FRIEND! Let me explain....you know the weird rectangle box that's on the cord? It's actually a SURGE PROTECTOR, they put it on there because the Supersonic has such a powerful motor. So if your sliding the switch from On to Off, then On and Off again and it delays, it's the surge protector doing its job by regulating the amount of electricity so it doesn't cause an outage. BOOM. Love this review!!
I'm not quite sure what you mean by universal voltage, but if you mean European vs American voltage settings, unfortunately it is only set for one specific voltage I believe. So wherever you live, you'll have to buy that particular version.
This is not about the product in the video....its about some of the rings you have on in other videos. The skull ring you have on your pinky who's the maker/brand?
Here is link for the product, if you were looking for it: amzn.to/2x4IWTQ Trying to get my girlfriend a new hairdryer but have no idea which would appreciate, i think i will go for this one. Nice video, helped me decide. Thumb up
Alexander Smirnow Good guess my friend but unfortunately I’m gonna have to let you know you’re absolutely wrong. This was sent directly from Dyson and this model was the very first Professional Edition Version. Only came w one nozzle (thinner than consumer version) and a diffuser and all the rest of the accessories. If it were fake I would’ve said so but thanks for watching!
Philip Wolff sorry but I have the normal version of them and everything is better than your so I can’t understand why your professional edition is that bad
I agree... I'd spend some coin on the "Revair" instead because it saves alot of time and B.S especially for those with curly hair and its price is more "justified" for the convience you get, but this dyson is just an unecessary over priced basic blow dryer nothing stands out that screams $500 bucks maybe $150 and I'm being nice., not to mention the fact that if you already naturally have Straight or wavy hair (which seems to be Dyson's main market) then getting something like this is just a waste because it doesn't take much for those hair types to blow dry vs if you have curly hair and "ACTUALLY" NEED.. a strong high output blow dryer that can help press that curl out.. Most of the reviews of those who promote this thing ALREADY have straight silky hair or wavy hair so this device doesn't impress me at all any more than a 60 dollar blow dryer..In the end your basically paying $500 bucks for the Name nothing more nothing less.. Not saying this isn't a really good blow dryer but its quality isn't $500 by any stretch of the imagination. Dyson needs to knock it off and bring it down..
