That smd cap is directly across the power supply, you can tell by looking at the copper fills it is attached to, it won't make any difference to operation, if missing, maybe some more EMI radiated.

Same thing happened to mine, took it apart and found the bearings were seized, the motor itself is not serviceable, you can buy a new motor and cyclone assembly on amazon. Reuse your battery (which is removable by taking out 3 Phillips head screws), dust canister and Filter. Beware of the cheap Chinese copies advertised online.
Good video question what about the connection in the motherboard for the small black and red wires. If that plastic breaks that connects those to small wires can the vacuum still work?? I broke the small plastic connector on the motherboard for those 2 wires. Can you respond when possible thanks
