@@techfixPOV but it’s still a ridiculous amount of disassembly required to swap/repair which a better designer would have made more readily accessible with a removable side plate to the grip,like so many tasks on modern cars,designed to create work for specialists

Hi thanks for your video. My chipboard was glued and I had to really carefully peel the glue off. Those **** at dyson man. But it worked!
To everyone that put the vacuum back together and is horrified that it's not turning on - as I was - but instead only briefly shlwing three blue lines: it means you didn't plug the small white square connector back to the electronic board in properly. I suggest you go back, really push it in (it should click) and even add a nice layer of glue like it was when you opened it. Works like a charm after this!
That's exactly what happens to me. I have 3 blue lights but the vacuum cleaner doesn't work. In my case the 3 blue lights stay on as long as I press the trigger. Could it be the same problem?
@@qsilver37. Either that or if you pushed the connector too hard you could have loosened the connector end off the PCB board wile pushing it in. Often times when these non upgraded V11s were run on boost mode constantly, not only does the battery get hot transfering the heat up the handle causing the trigger to get hot and crack, the motor can also get hot weakening the PCB solder connections and in some cases I've seen when people did the trigger repair and put the connector onto the PCB again the whole connector came off of the PCB board, necessitating a new motor assembly or unsoldering another PCB board from another parts Vacuum onto the one being repaired by unsoldering the damaged PCB with the parts one. This is quite the task though.

@qsilver37 . Had I seen this comment in time. I would have told you to order the upgraded SV15 ( V11) body, plus the new battery style that's removeable. Your filter and your attachments would have worked or upgraded or new filters. However the old screw in battery would not have worked.
@@Ecksterphono Yeah!. I bought the main body of the v10, and a complete Dyson outsize plus. Both arrived yesterday . They are currently in customs. I guess I'll have them with me in a week. Thank you!.
Yes, I also thought of this solution. The only problem would be that the distance between the button and the button support is very small and it could move with difficulty or could get stuck.
No need to bend contacts, turn them sideways and they will slide out without difficulty. Ensure thin wire is on the side closest to its plug when re assembling.
For me, it is much faster if I bend the contacts both on disassembly and reassembly. The thin wire is routed the same way the manufacturer did in the factory.
@@techfixPOV accept you found it quicker, but if it broke a second time bending it twice again, it could be game over! Thin wire can be routed ether position without detriment

The trigger on the V11 absolute pro has been upgraded and is slightly different due to the removable battery feature. The battery insert on the removable type is shorter and does not interchange, neither do the triggers. Same goes for the batteries.
