Howdy! I created this channel to offer help to those who encounter various problems with their electronic devices and to help them better understand why they broke down and how they could fix them.
I was only getting a flash in a V7 but my issue was that the motor was seized. Taking the motor out and forcing it to turn by hand freed it up. The whole trigger housing and motor assembly appeared to be factory new so I believe it was a factory error/fault.
Hello, Thanks for the video, I have almost the same issue. When I pull the trigger switch the brush start to spin but after 2 or 3 seconds it stops. I measure the voltage on the two wires near the motor at the brush and it is dropping to zero after 2 or 3 seconds ??? Can the problem come from the same Mosfet ?
First off, I never comment on videos, so I hope that shows how appreciative I am 🤣. My dad never really fixed anything growing up (maybe cause they didn’t have RU-vid back then lol). Thanks to your video, my Dyson lives.
Awesome video. Straight to the point. Great camera angle. My motor is starting to make some noise, I'm going to pull it apart before it gets any worse. Mine has the T-head and a retention clip on the motor. Must be an older model. Thank you for this!
Thank you very helpful video. My plastic motor case is broken and I have through the broken part, I will need to by a spare plastic case. Do you know where I can order them from by any chance?
Hi mate, I just replaced with new motor and my Vaccum Motörhead or any other attachment still not spinning just sucking. Do you know what would be the reason or how to fix that. Cheers
What vacuum cleaner model do you have? The causes can be multiple: imperfect contact in the Cyclone housing connector, defective MOSFET on the electronic board, liquid/oxide inside the vacuum cleaner. I have a video on my channel that could help you: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3P3-7HUy9c4.htmlsi=0lnaovMXhKJzAt37
Your problem is a little more complicated. First, please answer a few questions: 1. What model of purifier do you have? 2. When you start and stop the purifier, do the two air guides on the top work/rotate? Or are they stuck in one position and do not move at all when you turn on/off the purifier? 3. Is the purifier still under warranty?
Thanks for your video I fixed my brush, at first I didn't know why the plastic melted, then I thought it seemed like the high speed rotation sucked in the cat hair and then caught fire causing the plastic to melt
There are several possibilities: defective electronic board, defective motor, defective battery. Unfortunately, I cannot tell you for sure what the defect is in your case.
Your video gave me a good look at the red trigger. (Mine is broken inside and i need to disassemble). That V8 trigger is not sold online anywhere I can find. Guess I will need to a plastic repair as it doesn't look like the other trigger that is widely sold will be interchangeable.
salt water entered me from the usb c port door, I sprayed everything with wd 40 and left it to dry in rice, no signs of life, was I wrong? I am not able to disassemble it like in the video.
Hey TechhFix, I have exactly the same Mini Motorized Brush but the time belt is broken. Do you have any tips, where I can order a new and right one? Or can you tell the articlenumber of the timebelt? Mine is not longer readable. Thank you in advance.
Hi, thanks for a great toturial. After i changed my button, the torque brush only turns when its on boost level. On eco and med it turns 1 sec. and then stops. Do you have any clue what can curse this ? 😢 Funny thing, my wife says that it blows more than normal from the filter and if i close my hands around the holes in the filter, the brush runs, also in med and eco and when i remove hands, it changes a little in sound and brush stops 😮 do you have an idea ? Br. Jesper
This is really weird. Can you send me a video to the email address TechFixPOVinfo@gmail.com? I would like to see in the video exactly how the defect manifests itself.
Super helpful!! I have a dyson animal V8 bought somewhere between 2016-2018. Only difference was inside the motor, I had 3 cog around the main one. Took me some time to make sure they were perfectly realigned before reassembly. And I didn’t had to undo the T head that connects the rotor to the brush. It just stayed there while I was pulling the motor out. It is working again 😁
I am on my second v11 and the first one had this issue. The trigger was broken. It didn't have enough strength to push the button on the battery when I pressed it so it did this until it just didn't make a sound even anymore. Now my second one has this same issue starting today. They replaced the last one thankfully since it was a thousand when I bought it when it first came out. Not sure what it's at now.
Thank you so much for this video. I ordered a replacement kit incl two long screwdrivers on Aliexpress. There wasn't a manual. Because of this video I was able to complete the replacement on mine Dyson V11. This video is superrrrrrrrrrr 👌👌👌👌👍👍👍
You can remove the two wheels with the help of a very thin screwdriver with which you can pull out the axle of the wheels. After cleaning them, mount them back by pressing the wheels until the axle is fixed in its guide.
This is just the video I needed to fix my friend's motorised head - his attachment had exactly the same issue as you show here. I just wanted to say thank you for a very helpful video.
