Overall was it good choice? I have overheating V8 now and thinking of upgrading to v15, would you still recommend it?

@@Aror82 yes definitely, a great choice it really is so much better than the V8. It’s amazing how much it picks up by comparison especially very fine particles, which I think is the reason the filter need cleaning more often. It’s also a much better filter set up and as I said because of that I bought a spare. Since buy we’ve also bought the dyson low reach adapter. It states it for all the other Dyson’s but doesn’t state it’s for the V15 however it fits and work perfectly. It’s really a very useful attachment to have. Part No. 970790-01 One extra point when vacuuming on very short pile carpet the suction is so great that you need to open the small slider on the front of the carpet turbo brush head.

It’s a trigger again! I guess it’s a good in some people’s eyes and a bad in other! Personally I am a fan of it

@@mainsource8030 yeah I use one on my current dyson, will have to reuse it. Shame dyson isn’t one-touch always on though, they claim it’s to conserve battery life 🤔

If you have a V11 It's probably better to stick with it unless you reallly want a V15 there is a difference but it won't blow your mind, it's like going from the iPhone 5 To the iPhone 5s (It's better but not revolutionary!)

In the Dyson UK store it completely replaced the Dyson V11 Absolute as it is offered at the same exact price (£599). So if you were going for a Dyson V11 Absolute, you can get the newer one at the same price if you were to wait. The other Dyson V11s are still sold at their original price.

Hi mate! A v10 would still be absolutely phenomenal! This is just if you want the Lamborghini of vacuum cleaners in my opinion!

Yes this is a good point! The different power modes are a 50% increase on the one prior i'd say (in terms of the feeling) but in terms of pick up its only marginal because the base "eco" mode is still incredible!

I have a V15 and usually just leave it in auto for everything. Sometimes I use boost for cleaning out corners with the crevice attachment or very dirty door mats. It cleans better overall than my previous corded Shark Dual-M stick vacuum, particularly on carpet, is much easier to use, and is less awkward to move around. Once you go cordless you will never go back to corded.

@@nafnaf0 The assistant in Currys, told me the other day that Dyson have either stopped making the corded ones now or are about to stop making the corded - due to the popularity of the cordless.

@@TheVacMat I did thank you. Slightly out of my price range right now! But got two vacuums atm, the old Dyson V6 cordless and a Hetty which we got recently for DIY stuff. Could do with a new cordless

100% agree - it would be close to perfect if it would lower the suction to allow movement - at least there’s something they can do next generation 😃

Was it worth upgrading from V8? I have same dilemma now not sure if o should spend 650e. Although my V8 is overheating when on max mode,

@@Aror82 that’s because you need to open the little shutters on the front edge of the turbo brush to mid or full open. I had the same complaint until I realised. I’ve the V8 and can now say the V15 is much better.

Right on! The max suction mode is too much as it is 😅😅😂

@@TheVacMat and when u think about it, because it has a narrower cleaning head than the outsize and has more power, the suction will be much more concentrated and will get much more out than the outsize cleaning head will - when both are on max suction. Test it out if you will on a future video
