@diecastsixtytwo Mentoined he has the Jetson Pro Bolt. He reccomended upgrading the seat. What other upgrades should people be looking at for these budget-friendly Ebikes?
I have been looking to perhaps purchase a Small Electric Bicycle, and this review has been very helpful, nothing rushed all aspects shown and explained. "Thank-You".
I'm 55 this month with a bad hip .I struggle to walk my two dogs. So I thought I'd get one of these for the country paths around my area.. it's coming Tuesday and after your wonderful review I think it's just what I need. Can't wait.
Depending on what you're looking for, folding can be hit or miss. If you've got a huge Cyrusher bike, then you almost have to utilize the folding to take it anywhere, but with the Rad-sized folders, You might be able to get away with not using the folding function very much. Which Rad do you own?
I have the Jetson Bolt Pro which is a similar model. I only use it for short distance commutes and it's fine for that. I can also bring it in my apartment to charge it. I would never ride it for longer distances since it has such a short range. I would recommend upgrading the seat to something more comfortable.
It's a fun little, scoot-around Ebike! It's probably more of the gateway Ebike. lol So, try not to have TOO MUCH fun on it, otherwise, you'll find a few more in your garage and wonder "How did these get here?". ;)
You missed out on the cruise control. Pressing the light button while pulling on the throttle maintains that speed until you pull on the throttle again or pull on the brakes. Also, the top speed is 12mph.
You have this bike? You know of you can cut of the trotthle and if it without still reach that same speed? In my country the trotthle is illegal and needs to be deleted.my himo only gets 15 km a hour but is stolen last night
I have the Ancheer version of this bike. Ancheer's hub motor is 500W, 48V rated; battery is 48V, 7.5Ah; however the controller is only 7A rated at 48V, effectively making it a 350W bike (false advertising). Tires inflated to 40psi, 190lbs rider gets about 10miles range out of it, top speed is 17mph on flat, and has limited incline climb ability.
@@Ennovation yeah, I really would like ancheer to explain themselves about the 7A controller they placed in all the while advertising it as a 500W bike
@@ustadsami 7 AMPS though....I mean...I don't get out of bed for less than 20 :P Maybe they got a good discount on the controllers, but yeah I'd also like to see the explanation there.
Thank you for the kind words about the review! It does! I'm not sure on that Bolt (as far as specs go) but they look VERY similar with the body design.
Hey there! On this particular one we didn’t get to hold onto it to do a long term review. My impression of the tires is that if you did some serious riding on this bike, you might fair well with having a spare set in the garage. If you want to leave the sidewalk/concrete I’d also think about getting a tire with some more knobbies on there as well. Battery seemed to be as advertised on our unit, so no real complaints there while we had it. Sorry I can’t give you some solid answers on the long term performance!
But really just want to be able to go 28MPH on command. That's me personally, but I know some folks that would give the stink eye to something that doesn't get crazy speeds :P
If it were me, I'd find something that is a bit more substantial, longer range and more carrying capacity. If you HAD to, I'm sure you could make it work, but it wouldn't be my first pick if I was doing it.
Dang...you might as well just walk fast for 10MPH. I mean I was hitting that 15, and I'm a bigger dude at 230ish when I did the review, so I'm not sure what could be the issue there. If you get off the bike, hold up the rear tire, pull the throttle, is it still only going to 10MPH?
The easiest way is to get a rear hub kit (mid drive kits are fun too, but the rear wheel hubs are easier to set up). There’s quite a few good videos around on how to do it, as it’s a popular thing to do these days. What is the bike you’re looking to convert?
May GOD bless and protect you in the mighty name of JESUS! May GOD and JESUS break every chain the enemy has formed against you and liberate you! May GOD and JESUS fill you with GODliness and love to get through any challenge! GOD IS GOOD! JESUS IS GOOD! GOD is love in times of hate, GOD is strength in times of weakness, GOD is light in times of darkness, GOD is harmony in times of chaos, and GOD is all you need and more! If you need more love/strength/anything GOD is there! GOD LOVES YOU JESUS LOVES YOU! GOD BLESS!
