I can't wait to find out what this acronym means! I use the R.E.A.P method: R- read scripture ( a verse or chapter(s) ) E- Explain everything you just read! Who, what, when, where, how or the moral or lesson you've learned. A- Apply. How can l apply what I've read to my life and put that application into practice. P- Pray that God allows me to carry out what l have learned and ask him for forgiveness if I lacked in that department.

I'm so excited for the video next week! I know you studied the Bread of Life well! This relates to Leviticus 7:9-10 and Leviticus 8 as I read in my quiet time today. It proves that the Bread of Life given by Jesus is open to any who CHOOSES to believe, it is the free gift of grace that is DISTRIBUTED EQUALLY. Just as the Israelites gave the five offerings (burnt offering, sin offering, peace offering, trespass offering, and meal offering) - so did Jesus offer his Bread of Life that will satisfy us forever, because we chose to delight in Him and in His word(Like the In-Depth Studio Video - In Him). As we said thank you to Jesus during times in the wilderness - we still do today as more and more believers accept this eternal gift.

Can't wait to apply this method! We started a Women's Bible study at church using "Women of the Word", but then the social distancing and quarantine started. I want to continue doing it, but we haven't gotten to where we learn to apply what we read. Your video will help until we can start meeting again.

I make Christian bible study videos on my channel, specifically for women and moms, and partly because I can't seem to find a solid community of believers seeking Jesus where I live. It works. I tried it. Still working on Y. Lost my fire and longing/desire for God, so hopefully this will help revive those things, bring me closer to Jesus. To be honest, I didn't really feel like doing the bible study when I was about to start, but I did it anyways, and I actually enjoyed it. Thank you guys for this video. Ive been a lukewarm Christian my whole life and want to get closer to God.... at first i was pretty good at reading my bible, praying, etc. But when i stop doing those things one day, i just stop doing them the next day and the next day and so on... i pray for God to help me w that and also other things that i struggle w but it doesnt seem to be doing anything and i try to be faithful and believe that even tho it seems like God isnt doing anything about it he is but i always have doubt that he may not even be real! And ik thats the devil talking and wanting me to get farther away from God but its hard to be faithful in God when i cant SEE him doing anything😔

This is SO COOL!! I love this Bible study method. It really gives us a new perspective, there are so many times when we go into Bible study and are scared for what we are going to find because we want it to conform to our wants and desires, but really...this gives us what we need; because the Bible IS what we need!!! I would recommend reading NIV or ESV to start out with! Those are both much more understandable for your first time. If you want to read something closer to the original but still is a bit easier then the NKJV is awesome as well! While it still does have some bigger and older words, it does replace words like thou and things like that!

@@Laredef54 Yes, I agree with how they are changing words, but they didn't use the word Jehovah every single time. The original bible used the words God and Lord too. Jehovah is another way of saying God just like the words Immanuel, Adonai and a lot of other names they used in the Bible. Even if they did change it to God or Lord... He is the only God and Lord so he is getting the credit because he's the only one that is actually God. Obviously I don't know everything and I might be incorrect in some ways but I just felt like I should say this.

I can't thank you enough for including and stressing the E part of your method. So many people don't take the historical context/intended audience/etc. of the bible into consideration while they read it. They going into the bible with these 21st century rose colored glasses and it really makes a difference when you take a moment and really dive into the context and hidden meanings of what your reading. That's what I think- I bet their mom is so proud of her daughters! I make Christian mom bible study videos and I always think about how one day I hope to have my children lead a bible study online!
