Riding in Bentonville is pretty amazing! It gets even better when you have a solid idea of where to ride based on your preferred type of riding, skill/fitness level, and bike. This series is designed to help guide your experience while riding the @OzTrailsNWA. We even loop in some great spots for snacks and coffee in downtown.

I got a Trek Fuel EXe last fall. None of my other bikes will see Bentonville again because I usually come up on a Saturday night and ride Sunday then drive the 3.5 hours home. I'm not there for a longtime, I'm there for a good time :) Ebike is especially awesome for the return climb up to the Castle hub.

I rented a Turbo Levo for the day last fall, and now I want to move to Bentonville. Your trail network is nothing short of amazing, especially being able to ride straight out of downtown!

First time on an eMTB (and on anything with more than 100mm travel) was visiting Bentonville fall 2022 on a rented Trek Rail. Hit tons of Coler, bunch of SP right after the Castle officially opened. Within a month I got my own eMTB (Giant Trance X E+) and put over 1000 miles on it (in addition to my other non-e-bikes) during which time I got to visit NWA again and got in a jump clinic with @annekebeerten so I could start to enjoy the trails the way they are meant to be ridden instead of just rolling everything. Next trip I gotta check out hand cut hollow and then go re-visit Centennial/Kessler!!!

How about if you're towing a kid behind that ebike? We're headed down this weekend and thought about just sessioning Castle and Fireline / Rock Soft. We're still navigating switch backs with the tow-ee. Thanks!

I live in So Cal and I am thinking about driving out to Bentonville to eMTB, what is the best time of year to ride Bentonville and would a week be plenty of time or should I plan on 2 weeks?

Unlike Rich’s other (incredible) videos, this has little to do with skill building. Ebikes do not promote that. I’ll stick with my own leg and lung power, no matter how much harder it may be.

I have to disagree here. I only support the concept of an ebike for people with legitimate health issues. The bike manufacturers make more money on these things (so of course they push sales) while people become less self-reliant on their own skills and strength building.
